I have stayed at honors haven multiple times over the past couple years. The views at different times of the year are breathtaking and bizarrely relaxing. I’ve spend hours just walking around the grounds and standing at the waterfall listening to the never ending flow of water. It’s hard to describe how relaxing the entire facility is. The staff are always amazing and kind, they’ve gone out of their way to accommodate me multiple times. The dining room and the food is another whole experience in and of itself. The packages including breakfast and dinner are amazingly convenient and deliciously filling and fun. The pool is always the perfect temperature, and the hot tub is unbelievably relaxing. I can never get enough of this place and plan on going back again soon!
The spacious grounds and nearby national forests are just beautiful. There is a fountain in front of the building and a lake on the other side. Perfect place to watch the sunrise. I came as part of a large group- 450 I believe- and the kitchen excelled in keeping the buffet tables full. The food was good too! There are some indoor amenities, such as a pool and hot tub. The staff was patient and helpful. The rooms were good, with nice linens and towels. All in all a lovely experience.
Everything was excellent!! The place is renovated and beautifully appointed. The suite we stayed in was the best. It was luxurious, spacious, beatiful and very clean. The staff were all courteous, helpful and kind. The Reservation and front desk staff were friendly, approachable and sweet...Hannah, Heather and all of them. The Dining room Room and Chefs were amazing!! Chef and Chris, along with the Captains..Hugo and Cecilia. The food is excellent. I'm Vegan/ Vegetarian and eating out can be a challenge... but not at Honors Haven Hotel & Retreat Center. Excellent with vegetarian soups everyday and a buffet with vegan/ vegetarian options for all meals. Dee, the masseuse is excellent for full body massages.
I enjoyed staying in Honor's Haven last weekend for a workshop. The outdoor team-building activity was an ego-breaking experience. I won't forget it! I also loved the meals provided in the dining. The kitchen staff carefully chose healthy menus, like white meats& fish and fresh salads were available all the time.Rooms: 5/5
The hotel and venue were absolutely wonderful. The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable with necessary amenities and the grounds are incredibly beautiful! If you are looking to get away for some relaxation or to enjoy nature, this is the place to check out.Rooms: 5/5
Such a beautiful place and very clean and well run. I love the orientation to use the land in an environmentally effective and efficient way. Many amenities and the food is wonderful too!!Rooms: 4/5
After more than two years of working remotely, our team was more than ready for some in-person team building. Honors Haven proved to be the perfect place to achieve our three goals: getting to know each other, building trust, and learning to breathe. I'm a hard one to please, but Honors Haven delivered and I would highly recommend this facility for any group looking to combine meetings with relaxation and well-being. - The location is idyllic complete with endless nature, walking paths, meditation gardens, waterfalls - The facility is established, but clean and well cared for. Each of the team were happy with their rooms. The Solarium meeting space was airy and filled with natural light. Our team enjoyed evenings in the Zephyr lounge talking, laughing and singing kareoke. - The food in the dining room was wonderful! It was fresh, offered options for everyone's dietarty restrictions and preferences, and provided variety. We absolutely loved the freshly made kimchee when it was offered! - The staff were accomodating, especially in the dining hall! - The activities directors, Nick and Steve, were the abolute best, pushing us out of our comfort zones and creating opportunities for us to challenge ourselves and grow individually and as a team. I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but they delivered above and beyond!
Honor's Haven is a breathtaking hotel and conference center located approximately 2 hour away from NYC in upstate New York. The conference centered is situated on this picturesque piece of land where you can't help but to reflect and appreciate nature. There are ample opportunities for nature walks, complete gym facilities, a sauna, and a large pool. The cons - the rooms are outdated, the bed is super uncomfortable and with the exception of breakfast the food is terrible.
Step into a time machine into 1985 and arrive at Honor’s Haven. Uncomfortable beds, terrible foods, and even worse internet quality. If you are seeking an upscale experience with high level of customer service, your search is not over. Taken out of a scary movie. Their best feature is their website that oversells the entire experience to make sure they will under deliver.
Indian Rock Trail and Shawangunk Ridge are purls of Honor's Haven Retreat & Conference hotel. The hotel location is sponsoring walkers and trail lovers. The fresh and fragrant air is the unalienable gift of the hotel. The scenic view of the lake from the hotel windows is unforgettable. The breakfast buffet features gourmet food of a wide variety. The rooms are clean and cozy—dream of coming back.
