After a fun day of shopping in Tlaquepaque Arts Village, we found ourselves outside of Honshin Fine Art Gallery of Peace and stepped in on a whim. Krystal greeted us warmly and encouraged us to ring the bell on our way in. We were thrilled to meet and chat with Mr. Honshin as well. He is only in the shop on Sundays - lucky us! Together they described the gallery, and their history going back to many years spent in Seattle. Mr. Honshin went into great detail describing his vision for the piece he was working on as well as his enthusiasm for wine. We left having felt welcomed, and we look forward to seeing these new friends again someday soon.

We had the pleasure of purchasing a piece by Mr. Honshin at the Tlaquepaque village. We have lived at our home in Massachusetts for almost 5 years, and we have yet to find a work of art that felt special enough to put over our bed. The gorgeous piece, featuring seven blossoms and a beautiful owl with incredible textures, is perfection. It just spoke to us. His art is thought-provoking yet accessible, and I found his work to be a gorgeous blend of cultures. There's an undeniable Asian influence, but I see the Mesoamerican themes woven in. More than anything, the pieces exude warmth and serve as tributes to nature and balance, making them absolutely joyous to behold. So pleased to have a piece of our own.

Didn't purchase anything, but had a great time viewing the artwork and Barbara was a great help to introduce me to Honshin's work.

We had the honor of meeting Mr. Honshin and his lovely wife when visiting Sedona years ago. His work is the embodiment of peace and tranquility, and the man himself is kind beyond words. The word "zen" does not do him justice but it's the closest I can come up with to describe the feeling of the gallery and everything within. He blends Buddhist and East Asian influences with those of the Southwest beautifully.

A Sedona must see I had a great honer of visiting the both galleries and meeting all the wonderful and beautiful souls at Honshin Fine art galleries. Mr.Honshin's great work touches my heart and my soul, I was inspired by the beautiful arts and I grateful for his time for read poems for me ! I really moved to tears by numerous pieces.

Warm and inviting Honshin Fine Art features the work of Nicholas Kirsten Honshin and other local artists. We were inspired by both the beauty of the work and the warm atmosphere. My wife was moved to tears by numerous pieces. A Sedona must see!

Honshin Fine Art was one of the highlights of my first trip to Sedona! I loved the inviting atmosphere of the gallery and bought several gifts for friends. Nicholas Kirsten Honshin's artwork has been used for Thich Nhat Hahn's datebooks for over fifteen years!!! There is a gorgeous selection of jewelry with spiritual intentions, breathtaking original art. I can't wait for my next trip!

Outstanding art work, and incredibly enthusiastic staff! They're always staying open later than most in order to better serve the late visitors of the area. They also treat you more like a friend than a customer, and they're very easy to talk with!

Great work, that is easy for even my jaded self to be moved by. Beautiful and accessible. The artist is quite obviously a talented craftsman with a mind that can translate images beyond the filter of ordinary thinking.
