You could not ask for a more loving and friendly experience and environment. Dann, Kim, Margie and the entire staff is remarkable to work with and are eager to make your experience as best as it can be given the situation.
The staff at Hopewell Funeral Home are exceptional! Their kindness, thoughtfulness and genuine concern extend far beyond simply providing service. By the time their professional services are complete, you feel as though they are part of your family. I cannot rate them highly enough!
I have had the pleasure of working with Hopewell funrel home over the past few years. To say they strive for customer satisfaction would be an understatement. They strive to make sure every family has the best celebration of life and comfort them while there grieving. They also have a great team that will go above and Beyond to make sure your family member gets the closures they need. They put their hearts into every service and grieve with each family. Thank you Hopewell Funeral Home for all that you do.
Unfortunately, I have been to Hopewell many more times than I would like to imagine. My Aunt passed away a week ago and services were held this past Friday.. I would like to say that Edwina was very kind and was constantly checking with my family the day of the funeral which was very nice. Firstly, my mom sister of my aunt called to make arrangements for them to pick up my Aunt and arrange the funeral. While on the phone they said they no longer allow people in the building and everything is done over the phone... pandemic I get it but that is very impersonal for someone already grieving. Additionally, Hopewell allows people in for the funeral with no cap on how many people can come so what is the real reason. It would have been a total of three people my mom, cousin, and the guy making arrangements. Secondly, my aunt was cremated and we wanted her buried in the plot that was already paid for. Hopewell specifically told my mom they would notify her when they were going to take her out there to bury. Today, Wednesday my mom called the guy that would be doing the burial and he notified her that he did it on Monday evening. My mom called Hopewell and all they gave were excuses as to why they didn't call. They didn't even apologize or empathize with my mom. This is unacceptable. I understand things happen and especially now but to not acknowledge the mistake and to simply say sorry or that I understand is not right. Making excuses when in reality there shouldn't have been any when a simple phone call saying, "hey they are going out there." Would have been all that was needed. If it was an isolated incident this probably wouldn't have been an issue but it just seems Hopewell is going away from personalized care and true empathy for what a person is going through. Maybe they were having an off week but in a business like this when true compassion and guidance is required there isn't room for mistakes. It puts a bad taste in peoples mouths and that is what people are going to remember.
I want to thank Dan and the staff at Hopewell Funeral Home. My mom Barbara Corser passed away. Moms remains needed to be sent to Michigan. They made all the arrangements to get mom home. They kept me updated on every step. Thanks for your caring and compassionate care. Would recommend them to anyone.
Did some work for hopewell funeral home recently, They were beyond one of the best customers I have had the pleasure working with. They were always quick to answer any questions I had and overall very professional and very polite in all aspects of our dealings.
Even though we have had terrible time this year with the loss of my grandma hope we’ll was there for my family and I throughout the entire service, and after. They treat you like they are your own family. And respect wishes and the way you feel. It’s hard to review a funeral home, but Hopewell is more than that.
