The food was good, but the service sucked when we got there it was not busy and they told us it would be 20 minutes to get our food not sure why but I might give them another shot because the food was okFood: 3/5

I ate dinner at 6 pm on a Monday night and I was seated right away. My server came over and gave me a menu and took my drink order. When she returned with my drink, I ordered the Hot Turkey sandwich along with mashed potatoes and gravy. My order came right out, and it was a nice portion of hand carved Turkey along with a double scoop of mashed potatoes. This Turkey tastes just like Thanksgiving, it was fantastic. It was tender and moist. The mashed potatoes and gravy were also very good. Everything about this place was good, I will definitely be back.

This had to be quite frankly one of the worst diners I have ever eaten at in my life. Not sure who in their right mind is putting four stars on this restaurant. It has been 2 hours since I left and there's enough wax and grease in my mouth to start my own candle company. My hamburger I'm pretty sure was one of Wayne Gretzky's hockey pucks and my buddies gravy might as well have been drywall mud with bits of bacon sprinkled through it. They put American cheese on a Greek gyro and my dad's fish might have been the source of the original coronavirus. Horrid

First time visiting this establishment. I would have to say I was not very impressed. First lets start off with the outdated decor and uncomfortable booth seating. The window planks were dirty and full of crumbs and dust. I ordered chicken fried steak, over medium eggs , pancakes, hash browns and coffee. I was not happy to be given vegetable spread, I and many others prefer real butter. The pancakes were to sweet as sugar was added to the mix . The chicken fried was a shame . I knew immediately this was not fresh and frozen based off how the batter was on the steak and the chewiness of the meat. Honestly i was very disappointed. The coffee was mediocre and tasted sour , not sure if it was from coffee or coffee containers that looked to be from the 70s . Another thing that annoyed me was the waitress put my ticket on the table while i was only about 3-4 mins into my meal. This is a big NO NO . Let me feel relaxed and not rushed.

I absolutely love this place! The employees are friendly and fast. The food is always delicious. And we had a take out order for someone who didn't come with and it came out perfectly and right as we were leaving so it was fresh when we got it home.Food: 5/5

OMG! I came here with my daughter and ordered some pie. I took a couple bites of it and noticed there was fuzzy mold on it!! I gagged and told the waitress when she came back. She laughed in my face!!!!!!! Can you even believe that! I asked to speak to the manager, she told me no and walked away. I waited for about 15 minutes and lo and behold, no manager showed up. I went to another worker asking if I could speak to the manager again and I was informed that the manager was not there.... This is the grossest and worst customer experience I've had anymore. I will not be coming here again and I will be reporting this to the local and state food inspections...

Great little diamond in the rough. Neva was a gracious host. Great prices and great food. Typical diner fare. Family of 6 and we all found something we wanted on the menu. Kid-friendliness: The kids were welcomed and treated like the small humans they are. They loved it.

Not sure if it was a bad day, but you could sense the stress coming from the staff when we visited. The food was great, our waitress brought us the wrong order originally but quickly corrected it, and the prices are about what you'd expect at a family style sit down restaurant.Food: 5/5

I have never had a bad meal at Horizon. While they have a full menu of other items, I always end up ordering breakfast. It is just that good. Pictured is the Hungry Man and Polar Bear Waffle. Absolutely delicious! Fast service in a mom and pop environment.
