Horner Park

Lovely park area! It is a great play area for kids, with lots of playground equipment for a variety of ages. There is a nice walking path around the outside edge of the park. Very clean, accessible washroom on site that is open until 8 pm. Nice, well mowed grassy areas, and lots of mature trees around for shade! Lots of apple trees to enjoy the fruit of when in season as well! Restrooms: Clean and well maintained. Handicap accessible.

Nice clean park, I take my dog and daughter there all the time. Safe and in the middle of residential homes. There are a ton of off lease dogs, so if your animal is friendly, I wouldn’t suggest this place. Nice park for children. They leave lots of sand toys out for the kids which I thought was very kind and cool!

This park had a recent upgrade and is great now, cedar chips in the ground, new "workout" looking area for the kids hilarious. Looks like there is a pile of dirt left in the middle of the field too, but not sure what the plan is for that. My kids had a great time on the new structures.

Really great park for kids of all ages, everything from sandbox to roll-on play structures to climbing walls, multiple metal slides, a fun rope balance swing, few different style swings. I also noticed lots of attention paid to safety on the chains on play equipment, anti-finger pinching cogs never seen those before, cool idea And the scale of the park as a whole is really beautiful. Baseball diamond, dog area, lots of mature trees that actually shade where parents are sitting . And a bathroom I will definitely be adding this to our regular rotation in Saanich. More of these please!

Playground equipment is great for kids of all ages 0-12+, with everything from a sandbox to rock climbing wall. Basketball court is brightly painted and doubles as a street hockey court. Obstacle course/training area is a great and accessable. Baseball diamond. Bathrooms and extremely well maintained. Only thing this place is missing is a water fountain!

This is a lovely and clean little park with a wonderful playground for children. There is a large sandbox area and people leave old Tonka toys and stuff for children to play with. There are swings and slides and a seesaw as well as monkey bars. There is also a grassy area for playing. Update: There are many more things for children to do at this playground after they renovated it. There is also now a clean bathroom that people can use during the day.

Great park with lots of fun for the kids.

Clean! So well maintained. They had equipment that made my childhood jealous, and comfortable seating for parents. An offside gym supported older players with chinup bars and climbing ropes and dexterity steps, and the field supports sports well. One of the best local playgrounds I've seen.

Accessible ramp and bus. Lots or picnic tables. Sandy pit with toys. Swings. Toddle structure and larger structure with climbing wall. Wood chips.

Great park with wide open fields. Has lots of space for running around, soccer, baseball, and frisbee. A decent kids playground is safely located away from any roads, and the whole park is in fact nestled into a residential area. Only thing lacking is the privacy granted by greater expanses of trees and bushes.
