Iona Beach Regional Park is a great regional park! Pretty much as all regional parks in British Columbia this one has all what is needed for avarage visitor: great trails - exist and well maintained; many parking spots: unpaved parking lot is just at the beginning of the each trail. Paved parking lots are in designated areas. Many washroom on the trails and beaches. Dog friendly trails: on leash and off leash areas/trails. From one side of park South is crossing pathf for airplanes landing in Vancouver international airport that's why it's great chance to look some awesome big planes just very close above. The whole park is great place for picnic. Restrooms: Many washroom on the trails and beaches. Dog-friendliness: Dog friendly trails: on leash and off leash areas/trails. Picnic area: The whole park is great place for picnic.
Nice park to go for a walk. The jetty is about 4km out so 8km round trip. Some nice views. There’s a beach as well. Not usually that busy. Washroom facilities.
Love this park for my puppy! It's beautiful at sunset and the water is warm in the summer. I love walking barefeet during low tide and puppy loves it too. Kids see sea life and we get some wonderful photos Restrooms: Available Dog-friendliness: So much fun! And there is a hose to rinse off!
Nice park surrounded by water! Parking could be hectic on weekends. If you get there before noon, there is usually a spot. You can go to the jetty for a flat walk or to the beach for more varied hike. It’s nice to stroll around the lagoon, too.
Beautiful spot to take in the almost 360 views of mountains and ocean. Nice breeze on hot days. Glad to see they’ve added two outhouses midway and at the end of the pipe trail. Saw lots of herons, gulls, an eagle and an otter. Interesting to watch the changes to the bay as the tide went out.
It’s 4km for one way, totally 8km! We have 80 mins walk for whole pier! Super nice to have a walk and enjoy the sunsets if you have a long day Closed at 9pm in summer time
Very nice place to click good pictures of birds I saw a big eagle there and so many tiny birds too. Best on a sunny day if you want to enjoy the beach. In some parts Its so quiet you can only hear the wind squishing. Parking is very big and is almost full on sunny weekends but you can still see empty spots or just wait a minute or two and some space will show up. There is decent washroom and hose for dogs there too. No food so must bring your own snacks.
Wonderful place to pass the evening. If you go in a windy day u will find a different vibes. This is also a hotspot for plane spotters.
Amazing place for #running, casual #walking, #picnic, #dating. A lot of parking spots. Washroom available in the gate close to the parking lot. This place can spot super nice sunset
A wonderful regional park and beach in Vancouver. A place to check out if you’re in the Richmond area and the Vancouver weather is nice and sunny! Really clean beaches and must I say that it seems to be a hidden spot in Vancouver as it isn’t too busy for the most part! Compared to the other beaches like Kits or Belcarra this one seems to be the most peaceful
