One of if not the best off road park I have been to. The trails are very well marked and graded. The map is easy to follow and we'll drawn and labeled. The office staff is excellent. They were great at getting our whole group located in adjoining camp sites. The staff is very knowledgeable of the trails and able to give suggestions on trails based on your vehicles abilities..
Visited the park for the first time for this year's Veterans Day Weekend. I was impressed with the reservation / check-in process, as it was smooth and painless. The park is very large, I drove 33 miles over 3 days only repeating one trail once. I was able to run all 3 Badge of Honor trails. I would recommend this park to anyone. It has trails for every driver skill level and vehicle capability
Had a great time! We only stayed 2 nights from Sunday -Tuesday we sorta had the place to ourselves Trails were well marked and our favorite was the Snake don’t early out as this run gets even better as it goes! Owners and staff were fantastic! Rock crawlers will have a blast as there are plenty of challenging climbsNot for beginners Hubby took his Honda CRF450RC for a spin and had plenty of exercise on the climbs. Beautiful look outs and the RV hook ups were good, no sewer yet but the electric and water was all we needed for a few days and it worked perfectly. Get out and play in the dirt!!!
First time at an off road park. First time off road with jeep mods. The staff was very helpful with the map and matching trails to rig and experience level. We really tested our range of articulation, pitch, roll and traction on these trails 3 diamonds and less. Perfect sunny day about 55 degrees. Some puddles. Lots of rock crawling. Lots of twists and turns. So much fun. We look forward to making it back. Very friendly enthusiast helped us with some hard lines. We helped pull one jeep high centered. They have air up stations. They have some snacks. They have some memorabilia. Within 30 minutes of anything you could possibly need.
Loved this park! I’ve done 11 badge of honor trails over the Midwest and Rubicon ridge and Fun Run are some of my favorites. So many fun rock obstacles to challenge and breathtaking views! Highly recommend!
My son and I have been coming here since 2005 and this place keeps getting better. With new ownership, the signage is much more visible and helpful. The cabin prices are really affordable, as well as the RV and tent sites. Although some of the trails has been made easier with some grooming I still enjoy the wide range of trails available from 1 to 5 diamonds. Also, most trails marked 3 have side routes around the harder parts of the trails making it nicer for groups with mixed abilities. Can’t wait to come back in June, 2022.
This park is so clean and very well maintained! We visited from Central Texas and we will absolutely be back. The bathrooms were clean, although be careful adjusting the shower head when the water is on. The tent sites were well maintained. My only complaint there is that campsite 8 and 9 are very close together. It wasn't an issue this trip because there was no one next to us. It would be the perfect spot for a group if you could get those spots. The staff was incredibly friendly, especially Veronica and Natasia I hope I spelled that right. Overall, this park has something for everyone. We came for the Badge of Honor trails and, of course, hit other trails as well. There wasn't a single trail that my group didn't thoroughly enjoy. The trails are very well marked. The difficulty ratings I feel are fair and accurate. We stuck to mostly level 3 trails but there were a couple level 4's that we completed successfully. Many kudos to the park staff for keeping this park so beautiful. I can't wait to come back and do it all over again!
I got to the OHV Hot Springs park about 9:30 on a Monday in mid September. No crowds and perfect weather. My plan was to try and get all three Badge of Honor trails done. I did and I was finished by 3PM. The entire park is covered in trails and I completely enjoyed it. I had a great time. Highly recommended.
What a great place to take your family for some off road fun!! The staff were friendly and the facility really has it all. Places to stay and clean showers, and a nice little store! Our guide was great and new his stuff and was a good sport about taking pics of us in the scenic areas. We will be back next summer
Friendly staff and well maintained facility. Air up stations, showers, bathrooms as well as several porta potties around the main areas. The park itself is huge and on both sides of the highway. The other side hardly seemed used when we checked out Jim's Overlook great sunset views. We'll definitely be back in the future!
