Houghton Library

Houghton Library holds Harvard’s rare book collection. It is inside Harvard Yard near the gates to the art museum or the gate the goes of to Harvard Bookstore. There is typically some show of the books open to the public. Usually one show in the lobby, and then another of you go right down to the room on the corner- but the rest of the library is for Harvard use.

I came here last week with a friend and really enjoyed all the exhibits. It was fun to see all the books from the 1400s too.
