This is NOT a traditional museum. You'll find lots of old machines and antique farming tools throughout the property West Friendship Park. If you are interested in history, I'll encourage you to find or schedule a tour. The local volunteers can show you around. It's also worth noting that Google gives very misleading instructions. It'll tell you to go to the very end of the property, but you can't acces that part by car there's a closed gate. You'll need to park the car near the museum house that's parallel to main road or near the ending gate which is close to some nice hiking trails, including the monarch butterfly trail. Other events of interest: - In the spring, there are concerts and picnics in front of the main house. - They have truck foods once a week from April to November - In December, you can go on a 1.5 mile loop to see the trucks, tractors and trains decorated with lights. The light show costs $20 or $25.
My only regret is not discovering Food Truck Tuesdays years ago! The best family friendly event. We bring our own food sometimes and picnic in the front with live music playing or visit the food trucks. We love when the Glenwood library is there and the caboose train is running! Our girls could ride that all day. The corn truck and basketball area are big hits too! Love the sweet treat trucks too for when we bring our own dinner. Don't miss this!
An awesome outdoor venue with great parking, well designated event areas, and sloped ground to avoid puddling it was very wet the week before. Easy to find right off of 144 and excellent parking. Would consider for a smaller event but not a super huge one.

The Fantasy Wood Festival was great! A real fun time for the family with lots of activities for the kids to run between.
Nice facility. I have only been on the riding trails, but they are quiet, beautiful and nice to ride out on.
