Excellent experience! We stayed for 7 days. Front desk provided exceptional service. Breakfast was very good and reasonable. Food was much better compared to any nearby restaurants in terms of quality, quantity and prices. Amenities are well maintained: pool, common lobby area, elevators, gym, etc. Microwave is provided in the lobby. But we didn’t find it to be a big issue. Lot of parking space available. I’d definitely recommend for a affordable and comfortable stay in Miami area!
No words for the services of this hotel. Trained and educated professionals. Best quality service. Clean hotel with a wonderful smell. When you enter the room the smell is still very pleasant! Outside pool with covered and uncovered parking. When I come to Miami again I already know where I want to stay! 100% Rooms: Amazing!! Wi-fi: Great
Excellent front desk service. Room was a good size, clean bed linnen, adequate towels supplied in the bathroom. Breakfast was hot and tasty, with a wide selection of offerings. Gym area was satisfactory for a light workout. The only downside was the room had ants , not that many but there must be a colony close by and the shower curtain in the bathroom was too short, so one had to be careful when having a shower not to splash water as the tiles are slippery when wet!
BEWARE: Scroll through all the recent reviews and avoid this place... Do not trust this hotel! You think, next to the airport, nice! No, still avoid it! It's directly next to a loud highway and you will hear it. Trust this: This building needs to be cited. Shocked that anyone has had a positive experience here. It is not in proper livable conditions and it's beyond unsanitary. Pick elsewhere, unless you want to possibly bring pest/roaches home. Also, you won't get the room that you booked or a refund, nor apologies. It's a sad state for the workers at this hotel —Just shows the level that people scoop to in order to have a job and make a few bucks. This place is trash, don't join the bin! Flaws range —from roaches, to improperly workers showers, dirty carpets, to no microwaves in rooms, broken door hinges, improperly working toilets, to televisions not working, and do not trust the kitchen... Rodents = this place should be cited. If you dispute charges, expect robbery. Then they respond to comments with copy and paste sentences that state that they're sorry.. That they sincerely apologize and have taken up issues with management but the management is part of the mess never being sorry and not issuing due refunds. Give people their refunds and stop being like roach protecting thiefs! People, you have been warned! Stay away —It's better to pay a few more bucks elsewhere!
Great accommodations at Front Desk. Positive Check In Experience! Smiling faces working to satisfy each guest one after the other. Spot Light shines on DANIELLE, LAUREN, and others holding down the front desk. A Full Breakfast is ready early with a variety of foods to fill up on. Hot tea and coffee, orange juice and lemon/lime water. I love their breakfast buffet at this Holiday Inn. Lots of free parking for guest, additional parking in three level garage. Holiday Inn Miami-West Hialeah Garden is the place.
This hotel had all new staff. Most staff only spoke Spanish so when I friend was speaking English the ladies behind the front desk didn't respond, so I said speak Spanish and the responded right away. The rooms had plaster on the floor and tv barely worked. Bathroom was the best part of the room. Great shower and amenities in the bathroom. Not my favorite for a holiday inn hotel. Safety: They closed the lobby bathroom with a lock. They had one bathroom open near the elevators, with 5 stalls but only one worked. The others were locked. Tons of people waiting for the bathroom toilets. Just a terrible hotel. Need to revamp their staff and management!!! Walkability: Location next to the highway and mall, stores, eateries were in walking distance. Location is great but service was bad. Lots of cruise people stayed there so expect long life nes for a checking to the rooms. They don't let you in a room before 3 pm.
I was given a room that was already occupied. After that was resolved and I was given a new room I had to request a different room because ants occupied that room, plus it needed some love and tlc. In the end the final room was cleaner but the couch seat pillows look like they've been through a lot. This place needs serious renovation and upgrades for its price range...however the customer service is decent, front desk ladies were very polite. I just feel like I'm not getting My money's worth due to how old and used up this place is. Like this is like a low budget hotel quality, just saying. It either should be lower price or renovation is a must.
The rooms are not quite as clean as you would want in a place you're sleeping at. There's quite a bit of repairs needed as seen in the pictures. The dining area has just straight up holes in the ceiling and the lights in my bathroom and room would only work sometimes. The staff was excellent, and very attentive though which helped offset some of the lack of cleanliness.
I would avoid this place. I had two rooms. When we arrived, in one the door latch was broken and lying in the floor and the lights would not come on. The front desk staff said maintenance would come fix it immediately. After waiting in the other room for 3 hours, I went back to check, and the other room still hadn't been looked at. So, they gave us another room for that one. Then, in the other original room, turns out the shower was clogged and wouldn't drain and had to switch that room as well. After switching both rooms, I was told we would be given free breakfast for the inconvenience. Fair enough, yet I was charged for the breakfast on both rooms after the stay ended. I tried contacting the hotel for two days, no one answered. I called Holiday Inn customer support who couldn't reach the hotel either and directed me to dispute the charge with my bank, who ultimately said I was responsible for it. I called Holiday Inn back after this and asked how my bank determined I was responsible and was told that the bank spoke to the hotel - who to this day still won't answer for me. You are told when you file a case that someone from the hotel will respond within 48 hours - it has been 12 days and not a word. Ultimately, not a bad location, but poor service and the rooms are not maintained or vacuumed well at all. Even when getting two rooms with actually working lights and showers, there was still hair on the floor, etc. Just an unpleasant experience all around.
Not a good night!!! Our room was near the elevator so we heard almost constant dinging ALL NIGHT as the elevator went up and down this 16 story building. Those that stopped on our floor were even louder. Noise from the hallway was very loud also as people arrived ALL NIGHT. They cleaned the carpets and then turned in fans both loud until after 10pm and it turns out that was better and masked than the constant dinging and voices! The freeway and airport noises we’re almost constant as well. Lots of light as well noise came under the door from the hallway. The doors close loudly and this was an added insult ALL NIGHT. The pool wasn’t open due to some health concern. The neighborhood is bad - busy streets with trash and signs of vagrants made walking unpleasant and feel unsafe. The room was clean and bed fine, but proximity to the airport is not worth the inability to sleep. I would never stay here again.
