When I stayed there on layover, my room was nasty. The bed nasty, pillows nasty, bathroom disgusting with a clogged non working toilet. I was horrified. I had to stay in that room as I was told nothing else available and someone would fix it in morning. No one ever did. I never slept. Never again.
Very unprofessional hotel! I travel often for work and happen to frequent airport hotels. Upon arriving, the receptionist said the rate I found online did not exist. After showing them, they were still doubtful so I booked the room at the rate I found. I provided a confirmation number and the payment was already deducted from my account but the reservation still "did not show up in the system". After waiting almost an hour in the lobby, I called Ramada customer service and my reservation magically appeared. That was frustrating! Things did not get much better. The room was disgusting! My bathtub was chipped, the amenities had been used and there was food & toe nails on my floor! Had I not been so tired after traveling all day, I would have left and got a refund. The next morning, room service came early which happens to everyone. I asked her to come back and she said I need to hurry up and check out so she can clean the room. Rude! On the upside, the bed was comfortable and the selection of channels was nice. The complimentary shuttle was good which always is for travelers. Just be prepared to wait up to an hour both coming and going as time is a factor when you are traveling, especially by air. With all of this said, please spend your money on another hotel. I wish I had. There is much better competition in the area price & staff wise. This particular Ramada simply is not worth it. If you do stay here, I hope your experience is much better than mine. Proceed with caution.
Stayed there a couple of times and met a guy name Mario. He is a wonderful gentleman but due to the covid I had lost contact with him, would love to get back in contact with him.Rooms: 4/5
I stay in hotels often and this one is very run down and old. We got moved three times because we kept getting the wrong room. Stinks in the halls. Its a mix of smoke and what ever they use to cover it up. It needs remodeled. I think just a paint job would do wonders for it. Did not use pool area but that did look nice. I would not stay here again until they fix the place up some. Positive note, the shuttle driver was excellent. Very helpful and friendly.
Good: The room was very Clean. The Hotel staff is exceptional, friendly, courteous and genuinely nice...no fake smiles they mean it. Bad: No towels not a single one was placed in the room. Housekeeping The bathtub doesn't work. Maintenance. Overall: The access to food, shopping within blocks can't be beat. Also these rooms are priced well below the competition, factoring that you'll find yourself enjoying a great nights sleep. Kevin & Tina - Orlando, Florida
This is the worst hotel I have ever dealt with. Took them 45 minutes to get me into my rooms. I tired to check in at 4:30pm my rooms weren't ready nor side by side. At first not even on the same floors till a got upset. Then the office manager David got involved he could t do much he called the hotel manager which never came to help with the issues. At 5:15 I finally got my rooms side by side as my reservation said. Then they have no towels cleaned or in the room. It is 7:14 now and still brought no towels. The rooms aren't clean don't smell very clean either. Not a happy customer very unprofessional service from this hotel. The manager still hasn't called us to make things right. Our toilet was dirty when we got into the room. Front desk doesn't seem to have much guest service skills.
I can't believe some of these reviews! I suppose they were expecting a bulter and linen sheets for the price of a fill up at the local gas station. There is NOTHING wrong with the hotel or the staff that I could see. I have stayed at this hotel twice and I'm getting ready to book it again! It is a great option for those of us that must travel on a budget, but want a nice clean room with some added amenities.
My boyfriend and I stayed from 8/2/17 - 8/12/17. First of fall, one of the two elevators was out of service the whole time, and from what I read from previous reviews, that has been out of service for quite some time now. It appeared they had no intention in fixing it. We used the stairs most of the time. Second, they withheld $600 from my card for whatever reason. The total charge of the whole stay was around $500, so they were holding extra, more than the hotel cost. I can understand withholding couple hundreds for in case of damages, but $600?! They were two separate holdings too, one for $100+ another one for $400+. When I asked the front desk, they said they had no idea because it only showed the hotel price that went thru, and they had no way of releasing it. After talking to my bank, I had to then had the hotel to fax over statement to my bank and asked them to release those holding amounts. This happens routinely apparently, because when I was talking to the front desk, there was a girl next to me who was more desperate because she said she would have no money to go back home with the amount they were holding. Third, the condition of the hotel and room is not up to standard to be honest. The carpet in the hallway are all bumpy. The back stairways we used to go to our room, because the elevator was not working, is dirty. People threw trash there, we saw chicken bone there one time. My boyfriend found a little bug on the bed, though it's not bedbug, it is not acceptable. I have also seen tiny little bug crawling on the bathroom wall couple times. Lastly, they were having towels issue. One day we came back to find no towels left in our room. We asked the housekeeping lady on our floor, but she said we had to call the front desk, she couldn't just give us the towels. We called the front desk, they said they would bring them up in a bit, but we waited for an hour and no one did. We had to use our beach towels for our shower for couple days. Some days they would replace couple towels but no hand towels. When my boyfriend went to the front desk to ask for towels after not having towels for two days, he said there were other people there complaining about the same thing. Were they seriously having towels shortage? We finally had to just take some from the towel bin we saw in the hallway when the housekeeper was not watching, otherwise, we would have no towels! So to sum it up, don't go to this hotel unless you get a deal where you only pay $30 or less per night. Edit: forgot to mention, they do not have refrigerator in the room. On the booking website it says you can rent it for $10 per night. When I checked in and asked about, it's only available for renting if you are in the suite.
This place is not clean! Only one elevator worked it took for ever to get from ur room to the lobby! I don't think it's the staff here because Steve at the front desk was very nice to me. He went over and beyond to make thing right! But this hotel should be called a motel no free breakfast and they charge extra for everything none of the staff speak English except the ones at front desk! With help of Google translator I was able to talk with house keeper! She was nice The hotel need major upgrade! Don't let pictures fool ya!!!!
The location of this hotel is the only good quality it has since it is right next to the highway. Other than that, this place is a dump. It all started when my significant other had a hold charge from Ramada on her account. It was just as much or even more than what she paid for the hotel cost. When she was trying to resolve this issue, another person had the same problem but much worst. She did not have enough money to go back home because they held her money. In the end she fixed her problem by calling her bank and having them drop the hold. With that out of the way, we were on our way to the room but one of the elevators was out of service. I thought nothing of it since I mostly use the stairs but after the trip we started to do some research on this place and the elevator has been out of service before we stayed there. This is only the beginning. Our cards would not work, room service would take our towels without leaving fresh ones behind, bugs on the walls of the bathroom and bed, and the 4th floor hallway did not have any air condition. The worst thing out of all this was the equipment the staff were using. It is dated. They used vacuums that look like they were from the 1960s. They had this push vacuum that was just a box with a stick. Overall this place is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Please spend 10 dollars more to look for a better one.
