The Howard's Pub crew welcomes you to our little corner of paradise. We're open every day for lunch and dinner from early Spring through late Fall.
The Pub caters to everyone; from anglers to honeymooners, locals and visitors, the young and old. Families and large groups are always welcome. The Pub is a great place to bring the aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and all your friends or simply enjoy it by yourself. The dress is comfortable and very casual. Kids have their own menu with meals served on take home Frisbees and are provided crayons and coloring books to while the time away. The Pub excels in providing an enormous beer list including nearly 200 bottled imports, microbrews and domestics plus 24 drafts and a diverse wine and cocktail list.
Fun loving and casual, Howard’s Pub is open every day from mid-March to sometime in late fall for lunch, dinner and late night. The Pub is where you often find the locals catching up on island business as well as visitors stopping in from all over the world. The expansive menu offers fresh local seafood; including the island’s only raw bar, char grilled steaks and fish, pizzas, juicy burgers and sandwiches. The Pub serves the same menu all day long so you can accommodate your appetite with a wide array of offerings. We make each item for every order as you request it, and most are made from "scratch" - (i.e., our half-pound burgers are from lean ground beef, then charbroiled to your liking; our oysters and clams are shucked only after you order; our french fries are hand-cut from choice Idaho potatoes; and our chowder and other soups are made each day from our own recipes.)
The décor is eclectic with college pennants, licenses plates from all over the country and a vast collection of neon lights. Televisions are located throughout the restaurant for your viewing pleasure. In addition to the main dining room there is a large screened porch with ceiling fans. Enjoy the rocking chairs on the sky deck while taking in the ocean to sound side views. Howard’s Tower offers an enclosed view of the island and a quieter place to sit with friends. Live entertainment is featured many nights throughout the year. And The Pub gift shop offers a wide selection of t-shirts, sweatshirts, and Pub memorabilia.
