We had a wonderful experience with Howell Edwards Doerksen from start to finish with regards to my sister’s final arrangements. Elizabeth didn’t leave any details out, carefully and patiently explaining the entire process and helping me make decisions based on our personal needs. She assisted with every aspect and followed up with phone calls regularly. We were treated like family members and are grateful for the caring and compassionate service they provide in time of need. Sondra was also instrumental in the process and made my final visit to sign for and pick up my sister’s cremains and personal items a comfortable and special time. God bless you for what you do!

My dear little sister passed on recently and the care we received at HED was exceptional from start to finish. Not a detail was missed, thanks to Elizabeth and Sondra and their compassionate and professional service. Elizabeth captured my sister's personal tastes perfectly as they were described to her. I even received a call from her on the day of my sister's celebration of life to check in to ensure all went well. Worst experience of my entire life. Sarah is probably the worst human I’ve talked to. She has been nothing but fake and does everything she can to make everything an issue. She has held my dead mother hostage for money. She has held my dead mothers belongings and ashes hostage for money. She uses this phony soothing voice to lull you into thinking she cares until you pay and all that’s out the window. They prey on the emotions of the family of a dead loved one. And If you wanted to chose a different funeral home they bill you to release your deceased loved one. So basically it’s all about money and holding your loved one hostage for said money. You don’t have a choice, they just prey on hospitals to run and scoop up their next pay checks your loved one. I have never felt so taken advantage of in my life. I do not recommend this place. Let’s see what lies Sarah comes back with….

This company did such an amazing job. It's a terrible situation and they made it as wonderful as it van be for the situation. They were friendly, patient, loving, communicated amazingly. Elizabeth and the staff are absolutely outstanding!

The entire staff is very professional and courteous. Brian was the funeral director for my father's funeral and then for my mother's just a few months later. Brian showed tremendous compassion and made the whole process so much easier. Brian is truly a professional and a bright star for his company.

This funeral Home helped lay my brother in law down beautifully. The staff were professional the services they provided were beautiful. The items we purchased for the funeral were beautiful and delicate.

Howell, Edwards, Doerksen have been very helpful to my family during the loss of our father. While conditions beyond their control has delayed certain aspects of the process, the friendly and sympathetic staff have addressed our concerns with compassion and understanding. I especially want to give thanks for Elizabeth, as she has shared our concerns as if she was part of our family, and has worked to ensure the most dignified and respectful processing of our departed loved one.

Unfortunately our father passed away last week and it’s been very hard. When picking a funeral home we didn’t know what to do or who to look for and I believe our dad lead us to them. Sarah King took such good care of us and my dad she really cares and it shows. If the unfortunate situation happens to anyones loved one please ask for Sarah king she will take care of you and your family.

I couldn't have imagined better services than I received in such challenging times. I was pleasantly surprised at how my father's pre-paid arrangements were fulfilled at no extra cost even though the casket chosen was no longer available. They offered other options and handled decisions smoothly. I could tell that it's not just a job for them but a heart-felt career choice.
