This place needs to be shut down, foods undercooked, takes over an hour to get the nasty food, place is dirty and flies are over taking the place.
UPDATE: DO NOT WASTE YOU TIME OR MONEY PLACE USE TO BE AMAZING. the last 3 times that I've been here the wait staff has been rude. Drinks sit empty food is never made correctly. They have staff who doesnt know how to read a menu when they don't know what goes in something then refuses to fix it when it is wrong. Get told to deal with it. Had certain wait staff scan my card and leave themselves a tip because the 5 dollar bill on the table wasn't good enough for them so BEWARE PAY IN CASH. Jayme is the best waitress that I have seen in a long time! Food was hot and fresh! Very happy.
I went in to eat with a friend. There was seven people working in the restaurant. Five people behind the counter and two waitresses. The waitresses were both wearing mask. None of the five people behind the bar prepairing the food even had a mask. Unacceptable especially during these trying times. There was eight people in the restaurant including my table. Service was slow, the help behind the counter was loud. It took twenty minutes to get our food. Imagine being in a coffee bar and constantly running out of coffee. Ask for cream and sugar and not having a utensil to stir it with. One guy I watched count the money in the register about five times. He'd walk by the table and was blind to the empty coffee cups. I finally turned my cup on it's side. Obvious right, no he walked right by. When he finally went up to one table with coffee for refills everybody at the table held up their cups. When he got to my table I finally got his attention unfortunately he was out of coffee. It's not rocket science it used to be called customer service. When it was time to pay my bill I had to wait again. WHY? Because he was counting the money in the register again.
I wish I didn't have to give this place a one-star, because I actually like this restaurant at other locations. But this one needs a lot of work. I ordered pancakes, and not only were they much smaller than they normally are at the other area huddle houses, they weren't even cooked all the way. My mother wasn't happy with her breakfast either. This isn't the first time I've gotten bad food there, so it had been a while since I had eaten there. It will be a long time before I return, if I do at all. I think they need either new management, new cooks or everyone needs to be retrained.
From out of town and watched our plates of food sit on the counter for well over ten minutes. Older male working with younger new cook said he couldn't read and handled ALL food without wearing gloves, and his dirty shirt touched the plated food every time he reached up to grab something else. I threw change on the table to pay for our drinks, told them we we walking out and they were disgusting! Especially in this day of covid-19 and not one person wore gloves or masks while preparing or delivering food. On several occasions the cooks placed their hands directly on our food to see if it was still warm!!!!! Many customers complaining throughout the restaurant as well. Horrible service, Never again!
Three of us went in for our meal for the day. Waited 10 minutes just to get a clean table, waited another 10 minutes for waitress to take our order. I know that they are short staffed and need help. But if the ones working would work instead of talking to each other or going outside for a smoke break they could take care of their customers. Waited 55 minutes for our food , when it finally arrived at the table everything was cold. Not to mention the employees talking on there cell phones. The building is full of flies you have to fight the flies just to be able to eat your cold food. If we had wanted cold food we could have stayed home and had sandwiches. We were not the only customers complaining about the food or service, many just walked out because it was taking to long to get service or food which was cold when you finally did get it. They need a new Health inspector in Missouri. If they had a new Health Inspector in Missouri most places would never pass inspection.
The food and service in the sense that we were greeted, waitress was friendly and took our order , However my husband and I have kids raised teens now young adults and have grandchildren so we don't mind noise and chaos even during a meal! Again though the behavior goofing around yelling, reading each other amd horse play you would expect out of unsupervised young adults. A woman came in asked for manager and was told there was not one there. I chalked this up to the unprofessional and misbehavior of staff. Again order was taken food was good but I can see how the atmosphere and behavior of staff would be offensive and most likely have folks leave before eating in the environment the staff created. This was the leadington location
If I could give it 0 stars I would. Staff is incompitent from the waiter to the cook. Took forever to order. Took long time to get our food. 5 out of the 6 meals were prepared incorrectly. Go to the Huddle House in De Soto 10 miles up the road for a good meal.
Food was delicious and the service fast but we froze in side the building and could not wait to get our food and get out of there. When we asked the waitress about being so cold she said yeah it is pretty chilly in here I'm going to have to put my long sleeve shirt on. No offer to make the temperature any different so it was pretty uncomfortable eating
Tried to call an place an order just now for pick up. They say we have yo pay over the phone with a card. All I got.on me is cash I dont even have a card. Said we could place the order once we got to the store if I wanted to wait instead of going home from work I would of just went in. This huddle house has some of the poorest customers service I've had. They are the reason I dont pay with a card or use a card any more since the waitress last time my wife an i went in decided the$10 tip we left wasn't enough she ran our card for another $10tip which was unauthorized by my wife or my self
