We were seated on the covered roof top with a view of the Hudson. The food was very good. We had mussels in garlic and wine sauce & a spinach artichoke mushroom dip which was excellent. Our waiter Ray was great attentive, friendly & just a great waiter. Our Busboy was also fantastic, I didn’t get his name. It was my birthday and they surprised with May favorite ice cream “tartufo”. I definitely am going back and suggest you try it.
Beautiful view, delicious food and great service. Had the “Social Distance and Chill” drink. Festive and fruity. Enjoyed the burger and fries. Best part was the friendly service. Patrick was welcoming and helpful. Our first time but not our last. A lovely date-night place for my husband and me.Food: 5/5
Great location with mediocre food. Salmon was under seasoned and when ordering medium, came out well done. Fried calamari was also overcooked rubbery and underseasoned. Lobster ravioli was good, but had a tiny portion. Pretty good view of the water and felt great when there was a breeze flowing through the rooftop seating... all nice to have while waiting 50+ minutes for food.
We sat on the upper deck with a nice view of the Hudson River. However the food arrived before our cocktails. Not cool. Lobster bisque was fishy and the chicken fingers were raw in the middle. There was live music but it was awful like snake charmer music. Save your money and go somewhere else.Food: 1/5
The food was bleh. Didn’t really have any flavor. The drinks were pretty good, and strong. The service was alright, but it was a busy Friday night, and I went with a fairly large party. So it’s understandable. Paul was one of our servers and he did great! He was very attentive and accommodating.
Oh boy, where do I begin. Prepare yourselves for an unforgettable adventure full of neglect, unwanted additions to your meal, and the explosive finale: a surprise trip to the bathroom! Whether you're looking for a memorable experience or ready to embrace the absurd, this is the place for you! Upon entering the restaurant, the staff managed to ignore us so successfully that we questioned if we had become invisible. It was as if we were participants in a bizarre social experiment. Despite my best efforts to establish eye contact and wave my arms about like a deranged flamingo, the staff seemed committed to their "ignore the customer" strategy. After being seated, we anxiously awaited the arrival of our food. As it appeared, so did the unwanted ingredient – a hair. I've heard of "eating hair of the dog," but I certainly didn't sign up for finding it in my pasta. The hair resembled a squirrel's tail, and we couldn't help but wonder if they actually had a designated squirrel chef in the kitchen. Now, let's discuss the "explosive finale". Shortly after leaving the restaurant, a force stronger than any atomic explosion decided to pay my stomach a visit. I'll spare you the graphic details. The restaurant could market themselves as an unconventional weight-loss solution – just add an unexpected bodily cleanse after every meal! All joking aside, I strongly discourage anyone with even the slightest regard for their taste buds, hygiene, or gastrointestinal stability from dining here. However, if you're in dire need of a good laugh or want to see how far your digestive system can be pushed, this peculiar establishment might just be your cup of tea... or should I say explosive diarrhea recipe?
Thursday night when I visited was trivia night. It was fun to hear the enthusiasm of the participants. The food all looks delicious on the menu. My mac and cheese was delicious and the added crab was scrumptious. I would like to return to enjoy more items. The service was prompt, cheerful, and professional. The atmosphere welcomes all who appreciate great food with pleasant people.
WARNING , this place is an economic scam. Let's start with the things they don't tell you. An automatic 20% gratuity is added to your check for parties of five or more. Our family has two adults two teenagers and one 3-year-old. They considered five meals being five people. They have no children's menu. We had to ask for a small side of pasta for our 3-year-old. They considered that a meal and added the automatic gratuity. Scam number one. They also advertise on their chalkboards outside and before entering the restaurant, picture included and on small chalkboards on the second floor, that during "Happy Hour" from 3:00 to 5:00 daily you will receive 20% off all of your entire bill including alcoholic beverages. What's not disclosed on any of the signs, and what no waiter or staff tell you, is that this "Happy Hour" deal only applies if you're sitting at the bar. Scam number two. My family's lunches were well prepared and came out timely. This is the only reason they'd receive even one star. My Anchor Burger, ordered rare, took some extra time and did not come out with the rest of the table. When it finally arrived, it was well done - as in burnt. We're not splitting hairs on medium versus medium-well. We're talking about a burger that should have been rare, and was a hockey puck. No children's menu. You should also be aware that they automatically add a 3% credit card charge to your bill. For lunch for two adults, two teens and a toddler, we wasted over $151 dollars. NEVER AGAIN.
10/10 for ambiance and food Great place to go with family and friends for dinner or even just to grab a drink. The staff is so kind and accommodating. Gary, the owner, was so helpful! I was struggling finding a location to have dinner after my wedding ceremony and Gary was honest and helpful with me. So much so he even recommended other locations where I can go to accommodate me. This is how I knew he’s genuinely a caring person. Thank you so much for your help you guys are amazing
First I ordered a spicy margarita. It was so unbelievably sweet. Similar to something you would get at Chili’s. I ordered the Mussels for an appetizer with white wine sauce. The mussels were just awful. They were either closed or mushy. They seemed old and I could only eat 4. The sauce was bland and the crostini they gave with it was stale and not toasted. The beet tower salad. was two slices of mozzarella 2 sliced beets and 2 roasted red peppers. There was no prosciutto and no fig glaze. It was balsamic. Besides paying SIXTEEN dollars for literal scraps it just wasn’t good. I’m a server and bartender myself, I know that restaurants have off days, but this wasn’t an off day. This was pure apathy for what came out of the kitchen. I have nothing bad to say about the server. She was nice, but the food was absolutely atrocious. you have a prime location, a beautiful space. Take pride in the food you serve.
