Historic family farm - house built in 1889 by Hulda's parents
The Farm house was built in 1889, later a potting shed was added behind it, also a carriage house which has been converted to a gift shop (only open once a year during Lilac Days) and many original plants still exist on the property. There is an Executive Board that runs the garden along with the help of approximately 200 members and volunteers that maintain all buildings and grounds all year round.
