As a recent AMC A List member, I've been visiting different theater locations. This one was fine overall but it reminded me of the eastchase location. It has the bar by the concessions. The halls and theaters smelled a bit musty like from water damage or mold, the seats need some TLC as the vinyl is cracking and recliners squeaky, and as is common, there could be a better job cleaning before and after movies. I will say however that the restroom was possibly the cleanest one I've seen yet during prime time hours, but where are the dividers for the urinals?
I have not been to this theater since they remolded. Before the remodel, there was a mildew smell in the theater every time I went in. I was pleased with the aesthetic of the lobby and the theater, but once I headed in the theater with snack the smell was still there; not very appetizing. I would think it would be easy to get rid of the smell during the remodel, but apparently they don't think so. I'm just concerned with what we are inhaling. My overall experience was okay, but I do not want to return with the smell.
This place was not great. As people were filtrating in a group sat near where I was seated and they brushed popcorn off their seats. No cleaning is obviously done for the next set of movie goers. I don’t know what it is about this place and the lights. They don’t know how to dim them. The lights are on full blown through ALL trailers before the movie and actually when the movie starts. That’s right, several people said “the lights” as the movie was actually STARTING and NO ONE adjusted the lights. On top of that I was seeing a movie that was not child friendly and there were two children in that theater both under the age of 5. One made talking noise the ENTIRE movie. Please leave your children at home for these kinds of movies that are not appropriate for your children and if you can’t find adequate help then DO EVERYONE A FAVOR AND STAY HOME PLEASE. Never going here again. The place was not very clean and smelled of mildew.
Great reclining seats! Love IMAX but you can get that pretty much anywhere. What sets a theater apart in my opinion is the concessions. At this theater the lines tend to get long and then getting through is slow. There's a ton of people behind the counter but only 1 or 2 people are helping customer they aren't super friendly. And lastly they shut down the soda machine way too early and you can't get refills. I went 2 weeks in a row and it was the same experience both times.
07/30, 3:50, ordered 2 drinks & a white dark haired brunette girl just moved a paper while we stood there & said nothing so we moved to maybe go back & get some candy, as we came back for our drinks she said “yea i was wondering where y’all went” how are we supposed to know what to do?? perhaps a “wait just one minute while I get your cups” would’ve helped this weird experience, angsty customer service, however the black girl at front was super sweet.
This place was awesome!!! Definitely coming back, a big comfortable chair, clean, and employees were so nice and welcoming.
Drove up and was immediately turned off by the amount of trash and what looked like construction debris and car parts boards, pieces of metal, fenders, bags of fast food trash in the parking lot. GROSS. There were so many tire markings that it looked like a meet-up spot for after-hours racing. The shopping center surrounding the theater also appeared quite run-down. Owners did not seem to take pride in their businesses. Based on the unkept outside appearance of the theater and its surrounding businesses, I was not about to venture inside. Nothing about the area felt safe.
We really loved it ran into a friend it was a great experience.....not like the one in Arlington but it's perfect for the kids
Tbh I had a bad experience here. I came to the theater while on a date on a Sunday night, I believe... June 4th. We went to see "the Boogeyman"easily forgettable and not something you'd want to see again. I could tell the aisle clerks there had no idea how to maintain a crowd, nor did they want to maintain a line, they'll just let everyone throw a party right in front of their faces at work if it happens. I ordered my popcorn and anything I was saying, she was basically annoyed with. Her attitude was way off into lala land, which I am not holding onto you guys, this is probably her first job. We went to our seats and some of the other guests parents had dropped their kids off at the theater and then went off to do their own thing, there was a total of about 5-6 all in their teens. Which is a pretty good idea , but you don't know what your kids could be planning the next time. So they were basically running up and down the aisles, exchanging snarky comments with each other, throwing stuff, all while I was basically annoyed to a 10 yet keeping it back, and these were just the previews before the show. They were pretty rude with each other, so interjecting would have probably gotten me into my own problems. My date was infatuated with me and didn't care about anything at all, but I wanted this to go well and have fun too. Basically those kids kept driving me nuts and the entire show was ruined cause they were talking, popping up and down the stairs and making comments during the show. You'd have to show courtesy to other people in a theater by staying quiet and watching it. Parents, teach your kids who don't already know that, I'm not usually a judgmental person but that's an important lesson of courtesy that teaches respect in life.
It's a movie theater. It didn't feel especially different or better than any other theater I've been to in the past 10 years. $6 movie tickets on Tuesday is nice, though.
