Odd park that's cut in cut in half by Hummingbird Lane. There's a playground on one side and a field on the other. It's a good place to meet up with friends and go for a hike on the local trails. There's a portable toilet on the playground side. I did not see a water fountain there, but I spent my time on the non-playground side.
This is our go to park. My son is 3 and he is so comfortable here. Slides, swings, it’s covered for the hotter sunny days. There’s sand, surrounded by grass to run around or kick a ball around. There is one portapotty. That’s the only downfall. But it’s surrounded by a hill and woods so it’s easy to keep an eye on your children.
Hummingbird Park. The park itself was very well kept, not busy, and very easy to access. As long as your vehicle isn't oversized, your allowed to park on the street and the path to the park is paved and wheelchair friendly. There is a down hill slope going into the park, but it isn't too bad, or long. Bad news: There is absolutely NO SHADE. My two year old wasn't able to enjoy himself on the playground due to the equipment being too hot for him to grab and hold onto the handles or use his hands as balance. He couldn't use the slides, as they burned his legs as he tried to slide down. He was able to swing, but due to the heat and no shade to rest under, we didn't stay long. We both left with our skin little more red than we do with other parks in the area. Maybe a park that we can visit when it's cooler.
Basic park. Nice playground equipment. Clean, open, well kept grass and landscaping.
This is your typical green space/park. The only item that really makes the park stand out from others is the posted signs warning of rattlesnake presence in the area. On the plus side, the park is broken into two sections... The snake warnings are on one side and the kid's playground area is in the other section so hopefully there are not venomous critters in that particular area.
I love it here. Never that crowded, well maintained. Peaceful. Serene.
Nice park. Not too many kid things to do. Does have 1 porta potty and pretty large grass areas if you are looking to play with toys that require some air and land space. There is one cement bench that is not shaded. There are several large shade trees if you want to sit on grass or cement curb. But be warned, you will be over run by ants.
Neighborhood park; there's a children's play activity area; the other side is open to walk about, take the back trails, many rabbits & squirrels; if you own a dog please be responsible & clean up.
Nice. A big field. One pretty good playground structure. 2 big kid swings and 2 infant/toddler swings. Plenty of parking. Not much shade or picnic tables.
Nice view, but tons of flying bugs that bite. Park officials need to spray the entire lake area. When hot the park is not a good place to go do to the flying bugs. They make it very uncomfortable.
