Humpty's All Natural Pampered Pigs is just what it says. We raise our pigs in pampered environments and with all natural methods.
Humpty's All Natural Pampered Pigs is a small operation run by Ben & Dawn Foster of Shumway and Will Whipple of Taylor who are well experienced at raising livestock. We take the care of the living environment, feeding and raising of animals very seriously.
All pigs are fed on a diet of ground corn with soy, barley and the excess from our all natural vegetable gardens and apple trees only. Absolutely no slop for our pigs!
There are NO hormones or unnecessary antibiotics used on our pigs since they are bred naturally and care is taken to protect them from germs that may cause disease.
The birth of the piglets is tracked and supervised to ensure maximum living piglets and the piglets are kept in comfortable, warm enclosures to promote a healthy growth environment. All pigs are handled for calm temperaments.
The piglets are well formed for Show requirements and ready for 4H.
We sell our pigs as weaned piglets, show pigs for 4H and for meat pigs. If you want a meat pig we can deliver the pig to one of our local chosen meat packers for your pickup butchered and you pay butcher fees or you can pick up your pig and take it where you prefer.
Our prices start at $100 for a weaned piglet and $1.20 per pound for an older pig payable prior to taking.
These pigs butcher out to some of the most delicious, tender and well marbled pork you'll find in this price range. One of our pigs was served at the 2016 Black Horse Brewery's Oktoberfest with RAVE reviews.
