Hunan Chinese Restaurant

CASH ONLY! Found hair on the inner lid of my House Lo Mein takeout container!! Wonton soup broth was bland. Ordered a large approx $4.00 and only six wontons were in the container. Forgot to put the eggroll in the paper bag. The lady behind the register didn't seem to care much when I called to inform the restaurant of the two miscues.

Seriously DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! I can only give one star because the egg rolls were good but everything else was the worst Chinese food I've ever had. The sesame chicken was mushy with the breading falling off and wasn't sweet at all. The beef and broccoli tasted like beef stew! The mongolian beef had the sauce and seasoning just thrown on top. And the crab rangoon was made with mozzarella or some other stringy cheese not cream cheese! We will never go back and will advise everyone we know not to go either. They also have horrible customer service and hung up on us several times when we called to let them know the food wasn't very good. We live locally and will travel a further distance the next time we want Chinese food.

My mom has lived in palatka for over 10 years and I always order at Hunan chinese everytime I come to town. It was never a disappointment until tonight. My family and I ordered some orange chicken, pork fried rice and shrimp lo mein for take out and I fed my son first and tended to my newborn before I sat down to eat when I got home. When I did sit down to eat I took a few bites of the orange chicken my son amd I were sharing and realized it was not cooked thoroughly enough. It was pink in the center and gooey on the outside and inside. The rest of the food was amazing and I wasnt the least bit upset although I did decide to call and let them know that it was raw so they could maybe be more cautious or check their temperatures on their fryers or whatever. I'm sorry, but I don't speak chinese and I tried my best to understand her explanation and apologized coubtless times for not being able to understand her well and asking her to repeat herself so many times. I had every intention of coming back again and again until she literally got an attitude and hung up on me! Never in my life have I ever been treated so poorly by a restaurant owner and I will not be spending my money there again and I will tell my friends not to as well as apparently not only do they not know how to cook chicken properly it seems, but they also have terrible customer service skills. They messed my order up and possibly got my son sick and they hung up on ME when I was even being understanding and very respectful about the situation and wasnt even asking for replacement food. You guys need to learn people skills. Ill copy and paste this to every review I can find. Thanks for nothing.

Food was way overcooked, rice was mushy, waited for over 45 minutes to get my take out order, and it was over priced for what we got. Ever the free fortune cookies were really stale. Will never go back!

Very good Chinese food. Great prices, large portions. Possibly the best in town, top 2 either way.

Everything is fantastic. You get the classic Chinese treatment don’t expect greetings and service with a smile but the food more than makes up for it.

Great food at a great price service is always a little slow and a little bit hot inside the restaurant but the food is more than one worth it
