I read that review about "real BBQ" and have to laugh. Huntsville barbecue is most definitely a REAL BBQ restaurant. Ive been here +10 times and the meat was smoked perfectly. Its pretty hard to find a good smoked meat in the state of Utah and this place has that classic Texas smoke authenticity. Compared to places like the Salt Lick outside of Austin, it is average. As a smoked BBQ restaurant in Utah however, its on my top 5 for sure.
This place is just OK, I've definitely had better BBQ. This is the place where you order your food like at a fast food place, and then they bring it to you. We ordered a 4 meat meal, it was plenty for the 2 of us, however, I don't think the food was anything special, I guess for a fast food join it was good. The girls working there do not keep the place clean, although if asked, they will wipe off the table. We also ordered hot apple cider, and it was DISCUSTING. Made out of one of those powder cider packets and barely warm, should have asked for my $ back. Overall, it's all right to grab a bite, better than McDonalds, but compared to REAL BBQ places, it doesn't come close.
Excellent barbecue. My wife had the brisket and I had the ribs. The meats were obviously properly slow cooked and seasoned just right and the sides we both had cole slaw and beans, you can tell we've been married a long time! were just fine. We capped it off with a peach cobbler which was delicious. We will definitely be returning.
I like everything about Huntsville BBQ, the number one thing being its in Ogden and we don't have to drive to Huntsville anymore. This is smoked brisket at its finest-- simple and tasty. Add their array of tasty sauces-- original, spicy and smokey, and you have all you need to enjoy the best brisket you'll ever taste. The sides are tasty, too. What is not to like about Huntsville BBQ in Ogden. There's nothing else as good!
This place has fantastic ribs and brisket. We got the meat plate and four sides. The loaded potatoes were my favorite and the cream corn came in a close second. Only downside is they only have three sauces.
Best BBQ place in Ogden! The meat platters are the way to go. I got pulled pork, brisket, and ribs and they were all amazing. The BEST thing is the brisket.
Food was good. We went about 15-30 minutes after they opened and several items were not ready until noon BBQ chicken and turkey. Not all dessert items were available. Prices were steep.
Excellent and authentic. Reminds me of the good stuff in Oklahoma. Had smoked turkey and brisket burger.
The food was pretty good but the wait was long and I bought a bowl which gave a little amount of food for too much money.
