"Founded as a five in dime store in Panguitch Utah in 1946. Hurst Ace Hardware is now conveniently located in St. George on the corner of Bluff Street and St. George Blvd. Hurst is not your average Ace Hardware with 30,000 square feet of lawn and garden, paint, tools, sporting goods, automotive, clothing and work wear, feed, knife sharpening and not to mention the most complete nut and bolt selection in town! I love Ace Hardware. The store has a wide variety of tools and supplies for any home improvement project. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, ready to help me find exactly what I need. The prices are also reasonable, making it my go-to place for all my DIY needs. Whether I'm looking for paint, gardening tools, or even a new appliance, Ace Hardware never disappoints.
How can somebody take you seriously when you have an 18 year old girl being your sales rep for Stihl products. I cut trees for a living and want to be helped by somebody who knows what they are talking about and an 18 year girl has no clue…..So I thought. Campbell was one of the most knowledgeable people I’ve ever met in regards to the product she sells and an absolutely delightful customer service representative. What a treat to be helped by somebody as friendly and courteous as her. Perhaps my view is a little sexist, because tree cutting is stereo typically a man’s world. So to find a woman who is knowledgeable, and experienced is a surprise. But to find her kind of expertise at only 18 years old is truly remarkable. I don’t know how much you’re paying her, but you better give her a dollar an hour raise or I am going to try to steal her from you. She is 801AMAZING.
I was working on a job and had to go here 5 different times for hardware. And every time they had it. There is an older gentleman in the hardware that was very helpful! I would definitely recommend this place!
Great Customer Service. Love Paul in the Oudoor area. Had so many Questions and he was able to answer all. The Fabric section is very nice. The Associates are so much nicer then in Joann's. The Selection on Product is not as big then other Hardware Stores, but it is still a Great Store.
Ace Hardware has friendly staff on hand who know the inventory & often make useful suggestions to solve a problem. Yes, they charge more than other big box stores for some items, but they also carry products that no other store has! I'm always happy with the results.
Went in today to buy a rifle. Two older gentlemen sitting behind the counter couldn't be bothered to quit telling each other stories to help customers. In today's society these gentlemen should be setting an example to the younger generation on how to work. This wasn't just a small period of time either, approximately 10 minutes. Went to Sportsmans Wharehouse and and paid more for the rifle, but was able to get customer service. Worth the extra money.
Love the Hurst Ace Hardware. Has a lot of different things to look at. Everyone is helpful. That's always nice.
Workers were nice and helpful. They helped me with my service project. Which is to make houses for homeless cats
Went there for there bird seed...ended up lingering because they have such a cool store. They even have a soda fountain. Nice store!‍
Good old fashioned hardware store with knowledgeable staff.
