I'm new to the area. Actually I'm new to Iowa LOL. I never heard of Hy-Vee's they do not have them in Florida as far as I know. But I must say it is one of the most complete and nicest grocery stores I've been in. The meat selection was incredible. The seafood selection was to die for.. no pun intended lol. I bought ahi tuna because I wanted sushi and I had a little trepidation... The gentleman behind the counter assured me that it was sushi grade if there is such a thing. And I must say it was most excellent I've actually bought seven or eight fillets from them since I've been up here. The only negative they seem to be a little bit higher priced in a a lot of stuff but the selection is incredible. Not much of a cake eater or bakery man but the bakery looked absolutely astounding.

Cost more. But I have to do shopping late at night, and I do. I'll go here, instead of Walmart. Get in quicker, Which gives me more time to get what I need. Park closer, less walking to get threw store.

A friend and I always make a trip into Fort Dodge to have breakfast at HyVee when we camp near by. Food is delicious and worth the drive into town.

 This store has good prices and beautiful steaks. As well as every need that you want. They even have self checkout. The store is very clean and well maintained. Five Stars from ChadderBox Angel Creator of Chad Harrison International CboxInc Angels On Earth and Songs and Poems from ChadderBox an Angel of the lord.

Meat department person was argumentative and trying to get through checkouts was a disaster. Not a happy experience. Won't be going back any time soon but I do still have a fondness for Hy Vee from years ago.

I just don't like this store I don't know about a friendly smile in every aisle  only have to go there to pay my stupid MidAmerican bill other than that I skipped this place the parking lot stupid trying to get out of it it's so much fun not

Stopped in after 10pm and everything was well-stocked, clean and the self-check attendant was very friendly and attentive.

Great place to grab stuff you need or order your food for pickup tomorrow!

Best store brand milk.  One of only a few stores I don't feel like has a negative tone ..it's always calm in a Hy-Vee.

Nice store wish had regular cashiers and no self checkout
