About
We are that welcoming place, where guests find uncomplicated experiences in a casual atmosphere. Hyatt Place is designed for the 24/7 lifestyle of a multi-tasker, perfectly blending style and comfort.
If you want breakfast good luck. We have been here 3 days so far and only able to get breakfast once A lot of the guest have to wait 10 to 15 minutes for the breakfast to be available. Definitely needed help in the kitchen. Then I requested fresh towels 2 days in advance and didn't get. Had to go down to the front desk to get them. For a higher end hotel I expected better.
Staff is nice. They call it a "energy efficient " hotel. Which means your electricity in your room does not work unless you have your key card inserted in the wall. Not comfortable in the summer when you walk into your room and it's an oven and takes awhile to cool down because you have to use your key card to get the air on. The hallways were like walking through a sauna. Pool area is very small. Definitely will not be my first choice for next time.
We made a last minute, quick trip to Vista and we needed to take our dog. Thankfully, this property is dog friendly. There's a small grassy area outside where your dog can take care of business. The rooms are spacious and clean and equipped with a microwave oven, small fridge and coffee/tea service. There's a bar in the lobby where one can get a decent drink. Breakfast is extra which I only found out after I got the room bill
The hotel was fine but don’t bother staying here if you need an accessible room. They don’t have any. The only thing that made the room “accessible” were bars to help you pull up in the bathroom. Otherwise it was an average room with a tub. I stayed further away from the area i was visiting because this was the only hotel with an accessible room available. Wish i would have stayed closer in a regular room and paid less.
Spent a week here with my mom before heading out for my new job. I would say the staff here are nice and helpful. Location: The hotel is located far away from restaurants and shops. If you like walking you may find the location not very convenient. Hilton is going to build a hotel next to this Hyatt Place and I am not sure there will be more shops nearby in the future. Room: Room is spacious and large. I think the double queen room would be good for a family. Each room is equipped with a writing desk, sofa bed, microwave, fridge, and a coffee maker. It is very convenient if you prefer to stay in room and have some perishable food when hungry. Staff: The staff are kind of helpful, and it is wired that nobody came for housekeeping during my stay switched room at the middle of my stay. Breakfast: Hot breakfast is provided, but overall not that great choice of variety. There are only three main dishes for breakfast: bacon/sausage, scrambled eggs, and waffle/pancake. Juice, milk, non-dairy milk is provided, which is great. Fruits, oatmeal, cereal, bread/bagel are also provided. So you can find the typical items in the breakfast but not that amazing. Wifi: Wifi connection is good, despite being unstable sometimes. Pool: Cannot say much about the pool. The pool is outdoors. Parking: parking is free, with many spaces around the hotel. Overall I recommend this place for a family vacation. For couples or solos I would recommend some places like Holiday Inn Express.
The Hyatt Place San Diego, Vista-Carlsbad was the perfect stay. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, and breakfast is offered from 6:00 to 9:00 a.m. I preferred Starbucks over the breakfast so we set out on foot and was happy to learn it was a half a mile away. This hotel is located in a quiet community nestled between Carlsbad and Vista. This was a perfect stay and I would do it again!
We are writing this review from the hotel room. There is no house keeping and we have requested a vaccum cleaner since 2 days atleast 8 times with 3 different clerks but each other takes down a message but never does anything. Room carpet has stains, electric socket loose and had to replace the iron because it never worked. Waiting on the last try before we cancel the rest of our stay
We are happy with our stay, but they need biscuits and gravy for breakfast. Nice clean rooms. Comfortable beds.Rooms: 5/5
Used to be a good equation price/location/quality Not anymore, rooms are dated and filthy sofa, curtains, night tables Breakfast is a joke. Always super crowded, bad coffee, peanut butter from a jar where everyone dips there knife Wouldn’t not recommend or go back.
This Hyatt Place is not worthy of the Hyatt name the bed was totally worn out I could not sleep for two days I told the staff who told my that they just got approval to change the mattress wow great for me right. I asked them to compensate me they offered me 2000 points and a glass of wine. I moved to the Ayres hotel down the road, night and day for the same price plus a hot tub and heated pool yes…No more Hyatt Places Vista for me!!!
