The Hyde Park Trail system is a community trail network that includes 28 miles of trails connecting parks and preserves, plus some on-road linkages.
It includes trails at the Home of Franklin D. Roosevelt NHS (including Top Cottage), Eleanor Roosevelt NHS, and Vanderbilt Mansion NHS; the Mills-Norrie State Park complex; the Hackett Hill, Pinewoods and Riverfront Town Parks; the Winnakee Land Trust's Winnakee Nature Preserve; and trail easements on private lands.
All trails are open free to the public year-round, from sunrise to sunset, weather permitting.
