Iberostar Parisio del Mar Riviera Maya Mexico

This was advertised as all inclusive but it's not! Shows are extra, you can only eat 3 nights at the restaurants then they want you to pay more or you have to eat at the buffet. The AC is horrible. Never would get cold! Its like the had the thermostat locked down so you couldn't adjust it. Even the restaurants were hot. We literally was eating and sweating! So uncomfortable! The only place to cool off was literally the lobby restroom and gift shop. There was a bar/pool that was green and looked like it had been closed forever. Casino hasn't been open since covid. We couldn't access some of the restaurants, pools, events, unless we paid for an upgrade! The place looked beautiful. We just felt scammed! And the resort credits they offer you only get if you sit through their timeshare presentation!

Daniel Lopez, supervisor front desk Paraiso Del Mar. This individual needs to be either fired or retrain for Customer Service. We are Iberostar star loyal customers and this last staying leave us with a desire not to returned to stay there anymore. This individual didn't address our needs. AC was not working from day one. Called to lower temperature at least three or more times. When the technician came to fix the AC he noticed right away it was not cool in the room. Plus there was green/ yellowish and black mold on the lamp shades due to the humidity. Plus the safe did not work properly and called twice to fix it. Plus the door keys did not work and left us locked out several times. We asked for a refund on the upgrade and were given the run around...was told that we needed to move back to the "original room" or provided a new room closer to the beach. All we wanted was the problem to be fixed and refunded for our inconvenience. That wasn't possible according to Mr. Lopez. We went to speak with Gaspar who said we could get the refund all we needed to do was bring our credit card to process the credit. We came back the next day day to process the credit. Mr. Lopez gave us the same run around again. After coming back a third time we spoke with a representative from PR to file a complaint about Mr. Lopez. We inquired about Mr Lopez's last name to file a complaint and the PR representative lied to us about Mr Lopez's name after seeking permission from Mr Lopez to provide a false name. At this point we were able to get someone at the front desk to have us fill out paper work but they did not process a credit on the credit card. We were told it would take several days or a couple of weeks to process. This is unacceptable and horrible customer service by any standard. I will call my credit card company to dispute the charge to make sure I receive a credit. I don't believe the individuals we dealt with at the front desk. We were lied to and given the run around on so many occasions. I assume that Mr Lopez trains his staff to not handle situations like this effectively and resolve the issues to the customers satisfaction. It was like dealing with the government. We will continue to give bad reports about this individual so customers don’t have to be treated the way we were treated by him. It was just a terrible experience.

We got to the hotel and were greeted by one of the most amazing and professional hotel representatives. His name is Jonathan. He certainly made our experience the most pleasant and helped us through the restaurants bookings, showed us the best areas of the hotel and gave us an amazing tour around! During our stay, he was also very helpful and answered all of our questions and concerns. I would say that he has excellent communication and presentation skills. He is very approachable and easy to talk to. He is both professional and professionally personable! Thank you a lot, Jonathan!

I’ve been to this resort but stayed on the beach side before but this time was better by far. I got to know the staff and everyone was extremely friendly and helpful especially Alexander with the entertainment team. He made myself and my family feel welcome and would actively engage us. The activities he ran were a ton of fun and he brought of a lot of positive energy. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone!

Amazing experience. We felt like we were in complete paradise between the beach, pools, food, drinks, and feeling like we were walking through a jungle to get to our room. The service was fantastic. Everyone was helpful, nice, and professional. The food was spectacular with a lot of different cuisines to choose from. We recommend this hotel to couples and also families as it's very kid friendly.

The entertainment team has been so great with me and my best friend. Elihut, Daniel and specially Alexander, he is a very good dancer, he makes you feel very welcome, hes amazing on the stage when he is hosting. Definitely I will be back cause they made our days way better.Rooms: 5/5

The activities are so plentiful and fun! There are so many options to try different new and old favourite activities. The staff are always so kind and smiling which makes the experience so positive and warm. I can’t say enough good things about everyone at the resort!Rooms: 5/5

Incredible resort with various amenities, from a gym with free classes to all the food you could ever want, as well as entertainment. Especially, David from Star friends was great! He ran a lot of the activities archery, volleyball, dancing and was super patient and kind when teaching people how to do things. Overall, great stay!

My friend and I stayed at your hotel for 7 days for a girl's week getaway. We had a wonderful time! The room was clean and comfortable. Your staff went above and beyond to make the trip enjoyable. There were many things to do right at the hotel. We also booked an excursion with the group suggested by the concierge and it was amazing. Everyone was very friendly and easy to talk to. The food was good. We has some of our best meals at the restaurants we made reservations at but the buffet with no reservations always had something we found we really liked. We will be back to stay again. One thing I wish we would have brought more cash for tips and cups to use at the pool. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing fun vacation!!

Mr Ramiro Torres was the best! He was very friendly and helpful. Vacation was amazing. Cleaning service is room was amazing and we loved having breakfast being served by Karen. She remembered our names and how we liked our coffee. Always greater us with a smile. Japanese restaurant was an awesome experience. Bartenders were all very hard working and pleasant.
