Idea Studio is a project of the Fond du Lac Public Library.

Description

The makerspace is a permanent do-it-yourself zone where people can gather to create, invent and learn. It includes work tables, equipment to use, display cases, a projector and screen, a demonstration kitchen and a digital recording studio. It will have space for DIY programs. New equipment is being added all the time.

I was in shock when I walk in the Fdl library today and seen this exhibit. I think this is absolutely amazing for Fond du lac Wisconsin to have for display in our library with these awesome people in these pics in our town. A good start and need to continue to add more of our history.
This is a great benefit to the community. The programs and activities for all ages are so fun. The librarians are extremely kind and very knowledgeable. The kids love going to the idea studio. We have so much fun doing the paint alongs. The Happy Cow was today's fun painting.
This place is great! The selection of books that they have available for everyone is really amazing. I also like on how they have some song discs that you can play in your own vehicle and all the stuff there has a decent due date that lasts up to a month. Their website also lets you renew books that are going to be due the next day if you can't make it there. I love all the sections that the place is divided into such as the children's area, teenager area, and the adult area that is up the stairs. The computers work very great as well and has little ports upstairs that you can work with your own computer while charging it! The place has a lot of space so even if it is crowded it is usually never crowded enough for walk space. The place is clean and the bookshelves are organized well. I would recommend this place a 10/10. I shouldn't forget to mention that the place is quiet and it is a very good space for studying of any type. The staff will always try their best to help in any situation you have. They have good kids activities that children can do which I have done one before and it's fun.
Hey what can you say its a library its fun knowledgable and good to go to rent new movies or print paper work its just nice to have more libraries then police stations but yes good library over all
This is a really nice library. You can easily spend a sleepy afternoon among the shelves. Has a good selection and interlibrary loans avaliable too. Very cool

I love to write. With that said, I have an infinite love for books. Sometimes my research calls for eccentric works and let's face it, while my love for books is vast, the Benjamins in my bank account is not. Sorry Amazon. I have had 100% amazing service and even above and beyond assistance in helping me find exactly what I need from this extremely, kind and knowledgeable staff. I highly recommend not only using the Fond du Lac Library, but supporting their efforts as well. Their love for the growth of children of our community is so amazing to see. To the Staff, Thank you!
Now that it's gotten new carpet and and some re arrangements, it's a better experience. Staff is helpful and friendly. Computers are a bit slow and it's a weird layout of materials. But overall a pretty good library
Always friendly and helpful. I love this library and the selection are wonderful.
