in over 16 years i have not taken my cars anywhere else. most honest best mechanics on the nw side of chicago. ask for mike. they are a very busy shop and dont need to advertise as his business is from "word of mouth" and then return customers. if all you need is "twist a cap closed" he will do just that and not charge you that's who they are. i have had autozone give me a quote thought i could get my car fixed sooner and then iggy's do it for 1/3 the price. that's ok i'll wait to save that kind of $. so they will not cheat you. my car pics for attention

Just wanted to say what a great experience I’ve had with Iggy’s. We moved to the area just a few years ago and the 2 times I’ve had trouble with my vehicle, they’ve been honest, fair, and did a great job! I was given a quote from two other places and Iggy’s offered me the best prices. Truly, grateful to find a local that I can trust and feel comfortable with! Definitely will continue to do my business with them.

I have been going to Iggy's for 30 years, they are very good and honest, and i trust them more than any other mechanic shop. Great staff, knowledgeable and talented mechanics, and very good prices. They are the kind of mechanic shop that gives you that being at home type feeling when you're there. No need to go anywhere else in my opinion.

I took my business truck to this place to fix the Break/ABS The notification lights were on. Mike, one of the people working in the shop, assured me that repair was done and the lights taking care of and he charged me almost $800 for the labor and parts. A few days later, the lights came back on. I returned the truck and requested to fix what I had paid for already. When I followed up after two days, another associate very rude told me I either should pay more to fix it or wait for mike to come back!!! When I asked when mike is coming back, he said he doesn't know and may take several weeks and hung up the phone!! Very disappointed with the service I received.Service: Brakes

Iggy's changed my oil. They do all of my repair work. They've always struck me as honest and fair. I trust them to be straight with anything that's wrong with my cars.

I had the misfortune of using Iggy's Muffler Shop in Norridge for my exhaust needs, and I have to say, it was a complete nightmare. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of a disaster. The workers at Iggy's Muffler Shop were ignorant and clearly lacked any expertise in their craft. The shoddy workmanship they performed on my car was not only unacceptable, but also potentially dangerous. I was charged over $2,500 for what was supposed to be a new exhaust system, but my car still wasn't fixed. When I went back to the shop to have them take another look, they played dumb and tried to shift the blame onto some other engine issues. They told me that I needed to see a mechanic to fix the issue, which was completely absurd. I went to a reputable mechanic, who showed me exactly where the muffler shop had cut corners and performed subpar work. Overall, my experience with Iggy's Muffler Shop was a complete disaster. I would not recommend this business to anyone, and I urge anyone considering using them to think twice. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.Service: Exhaust

Iggy’s is a family own business and they’ve been around for a long time. I’ve been referred to them by my shop because my catalytic converter was stolen. I had some problems with the towing company where they didn’t deliver my car to the shop and they put it in storage instead. Although I’ve never met Pete at Iggy’s before, he stayed on the phone with me and the towing company for the longest time and helped me out tremendously. If it wasn’t for Pete, I wouldn’t have gotten my car out as fast as I did. They’re very nice, decent, honest people that really care about their customers. They did such a great job on my car and their prices are very decent. This will be my go to shop from now own. Highly, highly recommended. Thank you Pete for all your help!!!Service: Exhaust

I haven't visited the shop in 6 years..the place has changed a bit,for example,it is closed on Saturday now as in the past it was open Saturday till 3.Pete told me that the guys were tired of working Saturday so the day was omitted.,Frank brother of Mike who also works there but was off that day,told me the price of what i needed.
