Breakfast at IHOP on central avenue. Family breakfast time last week. The staff was friendly and patience. The food was great. The temperature of the food hot, but not too hot. Coffee temperature hot, but not too hot. A great family atmosphere. Great food and good conversation. Highly recommend.
I know this is the house of pancakes but this is a place my family likes very much me not so much. The only breakfast food I eat is the classic NY bacon or sausage egg and cheese . I try to always give places a shot with their steak but wow.... This is not it . I asked for medium rare and got well done super dry and had a dusty texture. The kids and the wife loved their food but that steak hurt my soul. Now I know it's my fault for ordering a steak at IHOP but it's also their fault for having it on the menu. 4 stars only because everyone is nice and the kids and wife enjoyed their food . JS get a burger instead
When you come in to a restaurant. The person receiving or greeting the customer should be nice and polite. The food it’s not even the quality of ihop. My toddler will eat eggs any style ad any time. I ask her to eat it. She respond nasty. Cold warm French fries bacon and sauce taste spoil. I have to say I the bathroom ni es to be more cleaner after covid… and the kitchen I was not able to take a pic. But on my way to the bathroom. I understand the quality for food. Your kitchen need to be cleaner. My waiter was the only thing good in the restaurant she was nice.
This IHOP is located in a strip mall, so there's plenty of parking. I was there during the week, so we didn't have to wait to be seated. This has the usual menu. The food came out the way I ordered it, which was a big plus for me. The staff was pleasant. This particular location was decorated for both autumn and Halloween, so that made it feel less 'commercial.' Worth a try.
Tuesday February 21st 2023 12:30 p.m. I like going to IHOP on West 232st Street and Broadway. It looks much better than the past and much. So the pandemic help them clean up the Bathrooms were clean. I had the new vanilla french toast. It did not taste like vanilla at all and, that was very disappointing. The coffee is bland like always And that's where a half and half regular flavoring. The atmosphere is nice and calm. Waitress was very helpful. My brother had a great time there he just loves the place Kid-friendliness: It's kid friendly, but I hardly ever see children there. They need to make it clear that NOT All Children Can Eat For FREE! "Their sign says "Children eat for Free." If it should say! One child per family eats for free! That is clear and to the point! And no confusion! Wheelchair accessibility: This place only has wheelchair accessibility for the new area only, that they put their during the covid-19 crisis.
We were seated right away, which was the good part. The waitress was nice and checked to see if we needed anything but there was a problem with all of our orders. Maybe someone was having a bad day. I am willing to give this location 1 more chance.
Very busy but still received excellent 5 star service. Food was perfectly prepared and very delicious. I like salsa on my omelets and requested extra. Unlike most restaurants my waitress brought me several extra salsa packets, enough for the entire omelet. Only down side to this place is the prices are higher than most IHops.
Overall just a ok experience. Stopped by here for a quick bit . The food was not bad . There was a long wait for food . The server was super busy due to the fact she was the only one working the section. Overall all a ok experience.
Hello folks, let me start by saying that I generally don't bother posting anything other than a five review so this way you know that anything that I'm visiting is worth visiting. Today after running a lot of errands I stopped into IHOP on Central Park Avenue and I found it to be very clean, my server Dessire was exceptional, and most importantly the Chef Giovanni presented my food to me with an Elegance that breakfast should have. it was simple but the plate was clean and it was arranged perfectly and besides that it tasted great. I've seen other reviews on here but I would suggest giving a second shot because it's worth it.
Tiff Star was amazing customer service at its best. Melissa on the other hand was very rude, poor customer service skills and has absolutely no respect or regards for the paying customers allergies. Rudely disregarded us pointing out what we were allergic to , refused to get us a new server/ manager then went to giggle with her coworker about the situation. Tiff Star like the super woman she is came in and saved the day/experience. A plus one customer experience served by Ms. Tiff Star!!!
