I have been a student here for 7 years and i have loved every second of it. This school is amazing with amazing teachers. Many teachers are on the verge of earning their Phd in various fields. If you are looking for a school where teachers will make sure you are doing your work and where classes are fun but challenging then this is the school for you. It truly has been a blessing to the North Port community!
This school as of of 2016-2017 school year, has gone in the wrong direction. The imagine school Principal and Athletic Director, have lost sight of what really matters, not do they have the skills to lead properly . They forget kids are the most important thing in education. They all learn independently and uniquely. It's time to replace them , and bring in capable and experienced leaders.
Staff has avoided handling racism and racist insults against my child. The teachers don’t know how to support the minorities and don’t show support towards them. My child doesn’t feel safe at this school and I have encountered many other parents whose children feel unsafe and mistreated based on their race. Unbelievable.
Wonderful school, not for lazy parenting. But if you are involved in your child's life this is the school for you, small setting, more safety and control, uniforms, super friendly staff, small amount of students in classrooms, family events, they teach values like respect, responsibility, etc. The school was establish only a few years ago so it's working on improving a few things.
I can't rate this school. My daughter doesn't go here yet. Been looking into schools when she graduate from the school she is in now. I am she has awhile to go before she graduats from st charles. We were talking with a friend whos son goes and is very happy here. I love that the classroom size are small. My husband said we don't live in district. We live in charlotte county. My daughter is only going into 4th grade but was told to start looking now. I see some good ratings and not so good. Is this an all year school? Whats the student to teacher ratio? We have never been in the public school setting. I have heard horror stories , but was told this school isnt like that. If anyone can respond to this weather good or bad is appreciated. Thank you
I think its a pretty good school, although it is really small, I like the people that are here. I really enjoy our wrestling program here, but in high school, during my sophomore year, I plan on attending Venice High School.
Their werd racist words thrown at a young lady a witness heard this xx school officials said she was a liar. Then Volley coach calls my daughter a thief when his glass case was missing Volleyball coach thenfinds glass case. Ttjen volleyball coach char go es 185.00 for 5 days khLf days at that at aschoop function. Very crooked school. They have no teachers iniddle school.
VPK PROGRAM: If your kid is normal, a round peg, then this school is probably great. My son is ADHD and has sensory integration issues but has a first grade reading level and has second grade math skills. They refuse to work with him. The therapists and OTs have offered advice and plans yet they refuse to follow through. Even the Sarasota school board has said they have failed him. The other kids seem to do fine but if your child needs a bit of help or is just a square peg... I'd try something else.
THIS SCHOOL SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN !!!! Racism at an all time high without any course of action to stop it .. to see my god daughter be mistreated and called racial slurs without ANYONE even extending a apology is atrocious behavior by an establishment that should be caring for its students !! Minority students should NOT live in fear to go to THIER school or ride THIER school bus. Time and time again Imagine demonstrates their lack of responsibility to end BULLYING , RACISM AND BIGOTRY throughout their halls.
Greatest and funniest school I've been to! I love all the after and before school activities and how we just have to be active. It has nice lunch and clean tables.
