"Located in Pt. St. Lucie, Northport K-8 offers a challenging and engaging curriculum in a safe environment. Reading, writing, math and technology are strongly emphasized in all courses. Each grade has access to a full computer lab. Teachers work together to integrate the curriculum and provide for maximum learning and mastery of skills and concepts. Northport has several unique programs for the Blue Zone including courses for Gifted students, Spanish and musical Keyboarding. The principal is so personable and energetic.  I moved from Seminole county which has some of the best schools in FL.  I have heard horrible stories from my 10 yr. old child about other kids being bad.  They curse, they vandalize and they bother  or bully other kids.  At this age he knows about the choices he makes and what will get you trouble, so only to a certain limit I am concerned about other kids.  I try to teach him not to take bullies seriously and to stick up for others that cannot defend themselves.  His teacher Mrs. Tredor is amazing.  She makes the class fun but yet the kids know when she can be serious.  She is caring and understanding.  She is a great communicator and uses the tools given.  Class Dojo works amazing!

I just moved here from Broward county and all my kids went to magnet schools. I find this school to have ridiculous rules. The kids are handled like inmates. Believe it or not they used to love going to school now, I can see how much they don't like this school. They tell me about how dirty the school is and how horrible the lunch is.

The kids here are not disciplined- i am a 6th grader, and i have been sexually harrassed by 8th graders! ive seen kids cuss, shove, and hit each other WHILE the teachers watch, but do nothing. I entirly hate this school. See my grammar?

My son is high functioning autistic, and their staff all worked together beautifully.  I was amazed at how well everyone communicated and stayed calm.  Thumbs up Northport K-8, and thank you.

I went to Northport from 6 to 8 grade of the years of 2013-2016 now I'm a freshman in high school for Centennial high school. Northport is a decent school, it has his flaws, its has its good stuff about it.

This is a bad school i went there it's most of the teachers racist mean don't take your kids here bc they don't care about you they only show the white kid love I know it's racist

It is a great school for my child in 4 grade it has a great schedule and everything

I go to this school and the lunch is soo bad! Also i'm in 8th grade :P

My daughter Hates this school I recommend another school !!!! She said the kids pick on her!
