Watched avatar movie It was my first time 3D Experience I liked it so much
Very clean. It is the real full Dolby digital experience. The sound was amazing and the quality of the movie on the screen just made it even better.
Leaving the theater now and oh boy I’ve never had an experience like that — in the worst way possible, if the star portion of the review didn’t make that clear. Was seeing Avatar: Way of Water and we were forced to leave early due to multiple technical difficulties. 1. The 3D glasses for a 3D movie wasn’t working/calibrated. That caused a pausing of the movie early on. 30ish minutes later, the stream of said movie began to buffer and we were stuck for a couple of minutes awaiting its resolution. Not even 30 MORE minutes later, and the movie was paused again, this time, with a woman stopping the movie and making us leave. Going to a theater, as everyone knows, is a time commitment in itself. The theater being refunded is the bare minimum, and it’s ridiculous we weren’t allowed to finish the movie after all of the aforementioned mishaps. Terrible experience from an alleged state of the art facility.
Terrific true IMAX experience. One of the few in the nation. Seats aren't the greatest but also not the worst. If you need to stretch out your legs for any reason, it's not happening.
Last time we attended, employee helping us out was incredibly kind and helped us swap our seats - thanks for the great show!
We have enjoyed each visit to the Indiana State Museum and the IMAX theater. This is the state's largest IMAX screen. My favorite movie to see at this IMAX has been The Polar Express in 3D.
Loved this place! Comfortable seating and huge screen. Definitley a great IMAX experience. The staff were all very helpful. Park in the parking garage and dont forget to validate your ticket for free parking.
Why do the chairs hurt so bad? The chairs in the imax stick directly perpendicular to the ground. In order to push them back you have to keep pressure from your feet either on the ground or on the chair in front of you to keep the chair in a more relaxed position. It was incredibly uncomfortable and distracting. Movie and sound were great. Just jeez... The chairs! Ouch!
Seats are super narrow just a heads up, but the staff were nice and the theater was clean.
Screen was excellent, service was excellent. Unfortunately the seats were not comfortable at all.
