Approximately three years ago, my husband began gifting me the best gift ever of one on one art lessons with Elizabeth Impastato! Elizabeth is incredibly talented and my art time at her beautiful gallery is better than a day at the spa! Be sure to check out Impastato Gallery & Art Therapy for one- on-one art lessons, date nights, and gorgeous original artwork!

I just completed  a series of painting lessons with Elizabeth Impastato and truly enjoyed the experience!  Elizabeth graciously taught me everything from how to layout my painting and blend the paints to achieve the colors I wanted, as well as numerous techniques and tools for getting the desired look and feel for my painting.  Not only is she extremely patient and attentive, she is a pleasure to be around!  Elizabeth's passion for art and her desire to ensure a rewarding experience for her students are a winning combination!  I highly recommend her as an instructor!

We had SOOOOO much fun!  My 12yo daughter and I were in town visiting my sister in law and we decided on a whim to go for a painting party.  Elizabeth is the BEST teacher!  She has wonderful ability to guide you at whatever level painter you are and give you encouragement to unlock your own creativity!!!! Wish we lived here so we could spend more time with this phenomenal teacher.  We will be in her studio EVERY time we visit!  Thanks so much Elizabeth!

We had a wonderful night celebrating my mom’s birthday! Elizabeth did such a beautiful job instructing And guiding us with our abstract painting.   I would highly recommend Impastato Gallery & Art Therapy to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing girls night!

WOW! If you are looking for a way to bring a piece of NOLA back with you that is both artsy and personal, go with Elizabeth at Impastato. We did a couples paint session -- complete with goodies and champagne -- and flew back to Pennsylvania with two unique canvases of NOLA. I did a shot-gun house and my man did a trolley. Elizabeth guides you and leans back. She does not do the work for you, but allows you to explore your creative side. As a teacher myself, I know the importance of being a "guide on the side" and not the "sage on the stage." Do not hesitate to book a session at this studio. It is a calming moment in the middle of your travel and you walk away with a priceless piece of artwork!! she is about 40 minutes outside of New Orleans across Lake Pontchartrain. Worth the drive!!

Beautiful Gallery and very relaxing learning atmosphere. Initally, I started with "The Monet" Membership which consisted of four "1-on-1" -  2 hour sessions with Elizabeth Impastato. I learned so much that I couldn't stop there. I am now in "The Picassco" Membership which has eight - 2 hour sessions. I am learning a broad spectrum of techniques and latest texturing, colors, mixed applications and exciting ways of using them. I've alread booked my third Membership get the picture. You just do not want to put the brush down.  This Gallery is like a retreat and it is because of Elizabeth's love of helping and healing through art. Voted Best Artist & Gallery, it is clear to see; this Gallery is first class!

Elizabeth is passionate about both art and therapy and has brought the two together in a unique business to not only teach but to serve the community and those in need through love and the power of the paint brush. What an amazing business and staff. Thank you!

This place is perfect for a party and perfect to get in touch with your creative side. I love that Impastato Gallery has it all....classes, private lessons, can host special events, lectures, and of course gallery with great works from several local artists! There is something there for everyone. The space is so inviting that I find it hard for me to leave once I drop in. Check it out for yourself and enjoy!
