Indian Bend Park

It needs a bathroom & a splash pad. Other than this it is a beautiful park. Restrooms: They need to put some in.

Great find. Pleasant park with two well lit tennis courts. Had a nice hit here with Friends, and the condition of the courts was great. A little noisy from the road nearby, but would highly recommend. There's also a shaded area for your water breaks.

The park used to be a dump! However, the city really did an outstanding job transforming this park! Nice landscaping, an amazing kids play area that makes me wish I was little again haha. The wife was short enough to enjoy the mini zip line thing. Even has a dog water fountain, our old pup sure did enjoy that :. Now, if anyone from the city it reading, please put more street lights up in that neighborhood! Half of my street is dark, looks like the bad side of the tracks.

A nice, well kept open area for outdoor park activities. Sadly there are no restrooms anywhere nearby nor is there any public parking.

Very nice park. Well groomed, well taken care of, nice lush green grass. Very good tennis ball courts and decent basketball court as well. I personally go there to practice my disc golf throws. Its ideal for that, as it has big open-ish field, and is rarely too crowded. Overall, great place to go exercise, walk the dog, play sports, or have a picnic.

Indian Bend Park was previously SRP. That might be part of the reason for the odd shape. The shape is a plus on the eight acre Tempe City Park. It is more than 50 years old which is the reason horse shoe area is old while other areas brand new. It would be good to have restrooms either in the park or very close by. Indian Bend Park is mostly flat. It has mature trees as well as newly planted trees. The tennis courts can either be used as one Pickleball and one Tennis Court or two tennis. Lighting is good. Two ramadas were added in 2021. There are not a lot of Pic-nic tables or park benches. Terrific playground. Attractive park. Lots of room to add in park vehicle parking. City of Tempe has practiced good planning in many parks. O7/07/22: update. City of Tempe Parks & Rec are exceptional. Horseshoe pits, 2 sets, are replaced

We go here for the tennis courts. Time limit for court is 2 hours. Usually around sun down is the busiest time. Construction is over FINALLY. They got a port-a-potty here but don't count on it having TP or hand Sanitizer. Bring your own. They have lights for when it gets dark. See you on the courts.
