The Indiana State University Sycamore Outdoor Center is a scenic 80 acre plot of lang located approximately 18 miles east of Terre Haute and the ISU Campus. The ISU Field Campus is administered through the Department of Kinesiology, Recreation and Sport. The ISU Field Campus accommodates educational programs and services. It features 8 lakes, houses the Keystone Adventure Program, 8 platform tents, full-sized classroom facilities and climbing wall. The ISU Field Campus is open for ISU employees (with ID) Sundays April 1 - November 1 from 9 am to 6 pm.
The ISU Sycamore Outdoor Center provides an outdoor area for teaching, learning and research. Overnight Camping Facilities are available for organized groups and activities include: fishing, hiking, nature trails, volleyball, bird & butterfly watching, horseshoes, outdoor grilling, canoeing and picnic tables/shelter.
