Great place to get treatment for cancer. Have up to date procedures such as the DaVinci Prostatectomy removal making hospital stays much shorter. Dr. Bahler is the greatest he communicates with you regulately and really shows he cares and likes his job.
I saw Dr Hamid H. Sayar, he was wonderful in every way. Their was no wait, everything went without a hitch. The facility is beautiful, makes one feel like royalty. My husband and I spent the following weekend recreating a bamboo planting we "experienced" there. Would certainly make Cancer more bearable, luckily I was OK, but if I'm ever not, I will chose these physicians and facility.
I have had many infusions here, of different chemotherapy drugs. The nurses at the infusion clinic are the best I've had, in every way. The only better person to draw my blood would be Remitha at MDC. These nurses take their jobs seriously, and are good at what they do.
I had 5 Rituxan infusions and from the first time I checked in at the reception area until the last time when I left, I was treated with much kindness.All the staff were so comforting that all my anxieties completely disappeared. I am very grateful for them and for Dr. Azar.
They staff is very nice but they are slow in infusions and dr. Appointments. It takes medicine for infusion forever to come. My appointment was at 845am my medicine didn't come unt 11:15 and the infusion only takes an hour. It takes longer for the meds to arrive than the infusion itself
Steer clear if you have a latex allergy! While the ICU nurse and ICU physicians my mother had during her first night at this facility were absolutely PHENOMENAL, I was forced to leave my dying mother's side due to the use of latex. I went into shock despite literally overdosing on my histamine blockers over the course of the 10 hours I was at my mother's side, fighting for her life.... which left me in turn fighting for MY life. As a result I was unable to hold her hand on her death bed. Due to the choice of this hospital to rely on unnecessary latex sterile gloves there are ample sterile options that perform as well as or better than latex, I was unable to fulfill the wishes of a dying woman and ended up in shock. Unfortunately latex gloves are used in the ICU for all sterile in-room procedures- which makes it a life-threatening visit for anyone with a latex allergy. I look forward to the day when IU Health recognizes that every exposure to latex particles in the air at any/every facility that stocks latex gloves puts their patients and employees at risk. Just one particle of latex, smaller than a speck of dust, can trigger anaphylaxis in anyone sensitized to latex. It's like pollen. Every exposure to natural rubber latex increases the likelihood of developing this life-threatening allergy- and every exposure once sensitized builds upon itself. Come on, IU Health, you can do better than this!

Dr.Cox is an amazing physician with a super nice bedside manner! He literally saved my life and my throat from cancer! Any facility he serves folks at is guaranteed to be A-1 !
This hospital saved my life. World class staff all around. Making me want to move here to be close to the best health care.
I had the privilege to be a patient here. Excellent surgeon with very sympathetic supporting staff. Great experience way back in January, 2015 !
