Indianola is a village in Carroll Township, Vermilion County, Illinois, United States. It is part of the Danville, Illinois Metropolitan Statistical Area. The racial makeup of the village was 98.55% White, 0.48% African American, 0.48% Asian, and 0.48% from two or more races.There were 79 households out of which 36.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 60.8% were married couples living together, 7.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 27.8% were non-families. 21.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 10.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.62 and the average family size was 3.05.In the village, the population was spread out with 27.5% under the age of 18, 9.2% from 18 to 24, 27.5% from 25 to 44, 28.0% from 45 to 64, and 7.7% who were 65 years of age or older.
