I’d love to give this place 4 stars because the front desk and the nurse was amazing, but this company double charges you. The doctors work for another company and that company also charges you a seperate bill.. I went with my medical card and the state paid $4000 for 1 X-ray and a $10 shoe that I was given. The company the doctors work for still want to collect another $1375 from me.. I have collections trying to collect one company is using Envision Physicians Services and the other is using Harvey Physicians Services.. by the way the doctor never gave me a waiver or tested me for pregnancy before taking my X-ray and I found out a week later I was expecting.
I took my teen here for fever, chills, body aches, diarrhea, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, weakness, chest pains/burning in her chest, sore/red throat, swollen tonsils, this sad place sent my child home with a prescription for Motrin, and a antibiotic. Ingalls hospital is way worst!!!! Took my daughter to Comer's Children Hospital, they had to admit her. When I took my child, you could tell she was obviously sick!!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME COMING HERE! They will give you a prescription, google what they think is wrong with you, give you a prescription and send you on your way!!!! Ingalls Hospital is the same way! These hospitals are getting paid from our insurance to do nothing! AVOID THIS PLACE! And if it is a child, please go to the city and take them to Comer's Children, where they will do the job they are paid to do and will not have you sitting there waiting for hours, only to do the bare minimum for you.
This is worst place for medical help! We were there over 4 hours before anyone tried to assist us, we were there withan ill newborn with a tempature over 100! If you can go anywhere else for medical help then go and save yourself time and get the medical attention you need! I advise you do NOT come to this Urgent Care in Calumet City, they need to be closed/shut down immediately!
There is nothing urgent about this place. They arrive you on the board to have you waiting hours in the waiting area. Been here four hours just for someone to talk to me for 2 mins. Where is the quality in patient care. Zero Stars!
I brought my husband here due to needing finger stitches …. We didn’t wait too long but when they left out the room… they didn’t clean up behind themselves….. left a needle in the bed and soiled utensils. Too much talking and joking around. They didn’t know I am a UChicago employee… so I was very observant of the care given.
First time going! All of the staff was nice. I visited the internal medicine group with DR Shamshuddin. His friendly medical assistant and the receptionist. Today I returned for lab work and again front desk receptionist and registration and the phlebotomist were all swift and friendly. Im horrible with names I wish Iremembered the names because they deserve a shout out. I only remembered the doctors name because its on my paper work
This place is a joke they need to put 0 stars. Called to make an emergency appointment got transferred 3 times and only to be hung up on. I’ll deal w the pain
Just sat here 3.5 hours for the doctor to come in for 2 minutes and ignore all my concerns. I don't want pain meds I want to ensure I'm okay smh this place is crazy. Signs and symptoms of blood clot and no blood work done. Do not even bother atp. Dr. M Awan is his name and he is gonna seriously hurt someone with that negligence.
Don’t EVER go there!! An epileptic patient complaining of dizziness and facial swelling gets no vitals taken???? So after waiting patiently a few hrs, I finally got called. Once in the triage room, another “staff member “ rudely interrupted the conversation I was having with my nurse saying that she needed the room for an “urgent patient “. Whatever happened to my right to privacy? My complaint was urgent as well. Then I was given a urine and a pregnancy test was done EVEN THOUGH MY HYSTERECTOMY WAS IN MY PAST MEDICAL HISTORY!!A little bit after I asked for the manager, I asked if there were vitals in the system. The person replied “yes”. After being taken to the treatment area, the NP assessed me, found the problem and gave me a script. I asked the NPdifferent person were there vitals in the system for me, he also replied “yes “. I told him that the vitals were falsified and that no one had taken them. He all of a sudden disappears, then as he reappears, the vitals were no longer there. Safe to say I will not be going back to such a RUDE place!!!
A dumb white lady was being racist clearly because ima poc and her name is sue didn’t bother to know her whole name she bosses everyone else around and got mad cause i rescheduled one time I’ve been so sick I wasn’t even in the mood to argue but like your getting payed from me coming there don’t be a b**** hopefully this gets taken care of cause I will go as far as to calling corporate everyday I haven’t been able to eat at all for the past 6 days my mouth and nose is fully dry very unacceptable and I will be making sure she gets a violation because why work somewhere if you have an issue doing your job I’m not even the type to disrespect anyone but she just sounded and looked stuck up.
