"Inika" comes from a Sanskrit word that means "little earth." Our vast world is made smaller by our ties to each other. Although we call it "little," this closeness also makes us larger, opening up a literal world of new experiences. At inika foods we create an international cuisine that blends dishes from around the world. We believe in healthy, delicious food, and create flavor from quality ingredients and spices. We want to combine the comfortable, warm feeling of food at home with the exotic taste of the extraordinary, food that is simultaneously small and large; a little earth in every dish.

This place is part of a vegan food court with 2 other restaurants. I tried the Peruvian platter and it was so flavorful and delicious. We ordered from Inika for a birthday dinner. The amount of food was much more than I expected. The majority of the guests were not vegan, but the birthday girl is vegan, so it was important to make it about her. Everyone enjoyed the food, and we had lots of leftovers to last for the next few days. Nicole was very nice and accommodating. Everything was delicious. Every time I took a bite, I kept telling myself "there's no way this is plant based food". Soooo good. Service was excellent. Was treated as family even though it was my first time visiting.
Wow! So amazing. I was astonished with the flavors and textures. Gave me so much energy and filled me up in the best way! My boyfriend surprised me with this delicious meal and now I can’t wait to come back from Tampa, just to go to the restaurant
This is a locally owned and family operated small business. Inika Foods is the best place in Broward County for vegan meals, pastries and treats. I've been devouring their home made meals for years and never been disappointed. Never had a bad meal. The menu is always changing so there is always a new and exciting meal to try. They serve lunch and dinner. The portions are very generous. I can't begin to name the meals I've had. This is home made vegan cooking at it's finest. Among the memorable vegan desserts I have loved were a gorgeous, unique unicorn cake, a guava cupcake and the birthday or celebration cookie. I'll try to attach photos. The seating is super cozy and space limited. But that just adds to the home made vibe. I've eaten inside and taken home pick-up orders. The owners are always delightful and have a smile on their face. When you have business owners loving what they do, it comes through in service and the excellent quality of the meals they serve. I would give them more than 5 stars if allowed because they are many stars above the rest. Love this place. The food is very good.
Best vegan spot in Ft Lauderdale. Affordable and delicious plant based food ready to grab - And great pita wraps in the front. Baked goods are also delicious. I believe they change up the food based on cuisine weekly. when they did the vegan Japanese food it was amazing - please bring back the onigiri with the plum. They made my girlfriend a beautiful custom cake at a great price. Support this place!
Amazing people with great attitudes and hospitality whom works here. Plus the food was delicious although it was not what we originally expected. But it was sure worth the spot in to enjoy their tasty food during our travel. I would so come back again to try other options on their menu there. My fiancée enjoyed every bit of it. So you know we are coming back. see youl soon
One of my favorite vegan restaurants period. They have the trifecta of delicious food, amazing value and excellent customer service. What I like the most is the variety they offer. I can always count on sampling a new inspired creation from Inika and her daughters. My go to favorites are the Eggplant Parmesan and the Buffalo Cauliflower Pizza. If you end up going, tell them Sean from SoFlo Vegans sent you.
The food was delicious! There were several items in the platter and each one was full of flavor. You can check out the menu online but the menu changes so it's worth coming in to see what they have. The ladies are very friendly and obviously put a lot of care and attention into their little shop and the vegan food that they serve. Can't wait to go back.
We just learned of the family at Inika Foods. We requested a vegan 4th of July cake and it's beautiful! Of course since we were there we had a bite to eat. We had the jalapeno and cheese poppers and the schwarma. It had all kinds of things in it. Just ask what items go in it i.e. artichokes, olives, tsatsiki etc. So you can choose what you want in the pita with the shwarma. So many things to choose from. We were so full we couldn't even eat any muffins, cookies, cake and more! They are lovely peopleon top of that too!
