The mall portion isn't open anymore, just the Big Lots and the Office depot. Run down and dead.
Only go to Big Lots most of the time. Usually, pretty good deals and has 2 clearance sections in the store
It used to be a nice little mall, but so much is no longer there.
Stores moved away from the interior mall years ago, but there is an Office Depot, Big Lots, and Plasma Biological Service on the exterior. Lots of parking. It's largely closed now.... Ingle's has bought it to make a huge grocery store.
Good stores like Big Lots and Dollar General.
It was fun to go and visit this mall. Unfortunately I wasn't able to go in. I was saddened by that. They had all the doors locked. There is stores like big lots and office depot and a few others you can visit. You just cant roam the halls of the mall itself, for whatever reason.
This mall is like entering a time warp to about 1974. No viable stores, mostly just offices now I don't even think the tag office is here anymore, but VERY clean and well kept. Even the plants in the seating areas are well cared for. You wonder why they go to all this trouble because I can't imagine how they profit since no one is there and there is no shopping to be had. This mall has an awesome late '60s - mid '70s decor and color scheme. The faux "colonial" look of some of the storefronts screams 1960s but otherwise more '70s. Weirdest of all, the ancient working PA system was piping in music from the mid-70s last time I was there. I wonder if that was deliberate. It's a creepy experience, but awesome.
I'm not sure that I will be visiting the area again. The two stores that I walked into I received little to no assistance. I understand that the employees have their own tasks to complete and cannot greet every person that comes in, but I heard nobody be greeted, and saw a multitude of employees using their phones. Lacking the discretion to even attempt to hide their cellphone use.
Tear it down and start over wouldn't be good enough. Burn it would make an improvement. Plenty of litter everywhere. Won't need fire starter but might have to have a burn permit. Don't know ask someone who does please.
Went to this area to go to the plasma donation center. This location is easy in and out. Can sit outside to wait to either go in or wait for someone who does. With that there's no complaint.
