Great experience! The staff was very friendly. We are from another state and our first time visiting an out of state ER. The wait was long but understandable given the holiday weekend. The administration staff were speedy. The nurses showed compassion and updated us regularly. They apologized and thanked us for being patient constantly. The DR was knowledgeable and great with our child. I hope we don’t have to visit the ER again while visiting but will definitely recommend this hospital to anyone.
Very pleased! Intake was fast, and both tests were done by the sonographer who was an angel. She made me feel very comfortable and at ease. She greeted me with a smile and was kind. I would definitely return if needed. The sonographer had worked for this hospital for a very long time which to me speaks volumes about not only the care but administration. Well done!!
First time visit and I was impressed with the efficiency in getting checked in and seen! I received excellent treat from PA Jennifer and the nurse! Will definitely return for my medical treatment here.
If I could leave 0 stars I would. I have lived in Grove for the majority of my life and been nothing but disappointed and shocked every time I visit the ER. They don't listen to their patients, they're condescending and don't communicate to each other at all. A few months ago I visited the ER with my boyfriend who had a extremely infected pilonidal cyst that was preventing him from walking normally and sitting at all. It was the size a baseball and extremely red, Dr shoemaker looked at it and said that there was nothing to be drained and to go see a PCP. Absolutely despicable. We left and went to Mercy in Joplin where they lanced it and drained a considerable amount of pus, so much they were considering doing imaging for possible emergency surgery. They're going to kill someone one day. I again tried to have faith in our hospital this week when I brought my mother into the ER to be seen as she has been extremely ill for days. During her visit they said they were going to run a multitude of tests, get her iv fluids and possibly admit her. Well somewhere they changed shifts and apparently nobody communicated ANYTHING. Because they came into my mother's room and said there's nothing medically wrong with you but you are a little constipated. She wasn't there for her stomach. She was there for them to check her liver as we're concerned she is in possible cirrhosis, something the first Dr listed as a possibility when going over her symptoms. When she informed this new person of this he said they didn't draw enough blood earlier to do all those tests so they just didn't. It was a complete and utter waste of time and energy. You need to do better.
I wouldn’t even give one star but it makes you. This hospital was awful an I will never return an I’ll never take any of my kids here. We just moved to grove an I became very sick the past few days, become so unbearable I had to be seen. I asked for a blanket shortly after getting in my room the bed did not have one an I was shaking the nurse said she would bring one over an hour went by the dr came in I asked him for one he said he would find someone to bring one no one brought one the nurse came back in awhile later with iv fluids an medicine I was crying an shaking an so cold I asked her again begging her for a blanket because the iv fluids I know make you cold an I was already freezing with the shakes. She informed me that I was going to let her put in that iv before getting me a blanket or I could just leave. She kept complaining about how busy she was. She shut my door an talked to me in a very inappropriate manner. Another staff member overheard an brought me a blanket witch I was so thankful for. She did the iv an left an then over the next hour I could hear the nurse talking about me to coworkers very loudly. Very inappropriate behavior no empathy no kindness. Should not have the privilege to call herself a nurse.
On Aug.3rd I had pacemaker surgery at Grove Hospital by Dr. Chapman and his team. What a wonderful group of nurses he had that day. Never had so much fun before surgery. They were wonderful and very professional !! Thank you Dr. Chapman and all that assisted him.
Was in for an out patient surgical procedure- staff is incredible. I’m always anxious about the IV stick, the nurse was amazing and barely felt. They were right on time and all professional and kind.
Came in with extreme back pain due to an offroad accident and the nurses and the doctor wasted no time getting me in a room and getting test setup to check to see if I had any internal bleeding or brusing and if any bones were broke. They listened to what I had to say, was concerned with the pain I was having, and were all very nice. Besides being in pain from my own actions I 10/10 recommend them if you have an emergency situation
I did not give them 5 stars! Three people could not start an IV on me! They just put me in a room and left me there! They did not give me a call buzzer to ask to go to the bathroom. The room was dirty. It needed moped bad. I have been in there before for a heart attack and I never was treated like that before. They need to inspect their rooms better And get someone that can start an IV.
Dr. Wooderson and all the staff at Integris Hospital were fantastic. Check-In was easy and the staff were friendly and helpful. Dr. Wooderson, the anesthesiologists, and the nurses were friendly, helpful and put you at ease. They are professionals who haven't forgotten the needs and care of their patients. Thank you all, and bless you for helping me through my procedure.
