Just went and spent 180 the lady there was really nice we are so excited to bring these fishies home
I spent $120 at international aquarium store. I brought 3 koi fishes and 1 algae eater . They all died less than 24 hrs. I called the store that same day nobody answer and I couldn't leave a voice mail. I went there the next day and the lady said I have to buy more and I can get 3 koi for $75. I told her I'll just do a review on Google. So the man asks what the problem was cause they didn't want a bad review. But then again want me to buy fishes again that died less then 24 hrs.
A wide variety of fish are sold here from big kois to small goldfish. I shop here when I want to buy something quick or when I want to walk my lil bro around.
I spent $100 here & one of the purchases was a Placo & he only lasted 4 day. My other Placo I bought at Petco lived 3 years. I tried to take it back & they said I would have to buy another one. At lease at Petco they will give you another one.
Bought two blowfishes from them one dies two days later and they tell me that it's my fault so I'm out of a fish my other fishes are swimming around okay
They have a nice selection of supplies needed to keep up with the management of your tank. I just wish they had a larger selection of fresh water fish. That way I won't have to buy them on line anymore. It's hard to find quality fresh water fish anywhere in the bay area.
Very helpful my first time asked for help and they had me at the register, got what I needed in a few minutes. I did notice behind the counter they also Carry flea medicine for cats and dogs. They even sell single month supply. I want to go back when I have more time!
I wish they took better care of the animals on sale. There were several cages of canaries and parakeets, all with very little food and some with no water. I asked the sales assistant to give the birds some water and she said "I gave them some this morning". By now it was late afternoon. When you have so many birds confined to a small cage, the water is not going to last all day. To her credit, she did refill the water bowls, but only in a couple of the cages. I also saw some dead fish in a couple of the tanks.
This place is bad. It has so much dead fish and when i go in there, I was sad b/c there is so much dead fish. Don't buy here, also their prices are really expensive, don't waste your money on these sick fish.
Owner rude over the phone*. Staff nice but gave bad advice that left my reefer tank full of ammonia. * "Something wrong with your hearing?", he cut me off with mid-sentence, ironically failing to listen to me when I was about to buy from them. I shrugged and now shop elsewhere.
