EDUCATIONAL GOALS:
1. To prepare the student for the state Licensure Exam.
2. To assist the student in discovering and developing the skill required to obtain a means of monetary support.
3. To instill in the student a sense of competitiveness and professionalism.
4. To impress upon students the need for continuing education at the advance level to insure upward mobility within the profession.
5. To provide up-to-date information pertaining to the industry.
6. Provide support services for students throughout the educational curriculum and past graduation.
OBJECTIVES:
1. The student has the opportunity to complete the course of study in a timely manner and therefore control the cost of their education.
2. The student has the opportunity to have actual hands-on experiences with clients to learn the skills necessary to build and retain a client base.
3. The student has the knowledge and skill to effectively communicate with the cosmetology professional and their client.
4. Upon completion of the course requirements the student is prepared for the State Board licensing examinations and employment as a licensed professional cosmetologist.
The mission of our school is to provide an educational environment that provides a complete curriculum, based in the fields of Cosmetology, Nail Technician, Esthetics or Instructor Training, which will ensure that all students receive quality professional training; fulfilling all South Carolina state compliance requirements, all done with the goal of producing highly trained, dedicated and fully qualified professionals to everyone who has the desire to enter into a post-secondary education and who will meet the needs of the diverse population within our
Community and be prepared for employment in the field for which one is trained.
