Mission Statement
The primary goal of the Police Department is protection of life and property, prevention of crime and apprehension of criminal perpetrators. The Department has a firm adherence to a code of especially moral standards and artistic values. The Department strives with professionalism, honor and integrity to provide the best possible police service to residents of Iowa and to those who work, travel and shop here. We recognize and take pride in our continuous contribution to the quality of life in our community.
