This is to commend Officer J. Pendergraft for his interaction with me on 10/21/22. He was very respectful and, in fact, calming to me. He was unaware of my family issues but was intuitive and showed me compassion through that anxious moment. He was in no way authoritative, demeaning, imposing,or anything like what a police officer is portrayed as in today's media. For that, I thank you, Officer Pendergraft. Be well.
I want to give 5 star accolades to the bridgeport PD. I at the age of 53 did not realize I was out of fuel. Long story short officer Anderson stopped to assist me while I was attempting to use one of the "useless" new gas cans into my pickup. He called for backup to bring a funnel which made the rescue successful. Thanks to all the officers. I wish u had noticed all their names. Patrick Ferris
These guys are great! I have a special needs son, that loves police officers, so we go there all the time to visit. I think they love him as much as he loves them.
Don't drive through this city. For your own sake. Just don't do it.
