We work with student groups & university offices to organize lectures, forums, cultural events & film screenings. Events are free & open to the public.
The Iowa State Lectures Program is a collaborative effort between the Government of the Student Body and the Office of the Provost. The professional staff advises students, faculty, and administrative offices on arrangements for visiting scholars, artists, performers, public officials and professionals on a wide range of topics. We also assist with researching speakers and topics, scheduling and room reservations, fundraising, promotion and event logistics.
The Lectures Program oversees and manages the Committee on Lectures as well as the World Affairs Series and National Affairs Series planning committees and the FOCUS arts committee.
ALL EVENTS ARE FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
