Our facility, unique to Iowa State and nearly all of the Midwest, allows for animal-human interaction through teaching laboratories, outreach activities, and a variety of functions for future and current students.
As a keystone in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences’ efforts to train students for a diverse set of opportunities in animal husbandry, agriculture and related fields, the center also provides an inviting environment for recruiting young people interested in learning more about the diverse career opportunities in these fields.
The education doesn't stop when the students leave the classroom. A wide variety of student organizations use the facility to conduct meetings, host events, and network. The Jeff & Deb Hansen Agriculture Student Learning Center is proud to currently employ twelve Iowa State University students from a variety of majors and backgrounds.
In addition, this facility plays host to a variety of events outside Iowa State University, such as business meetings, formal dinners, and private celebrations. The Jeff & Deb Hansen Agriculture Student Learning Center is truly versatile in it's capabilities and an outstanding place to have an event.
