This small business is 1 of the greatest! The Patels are extremely friendly and very helpful. They get to know you personally, which I definitely think is wonderful. No Walmart or Walgreen's for me..I am completely satisfied :

We just moved to the area and the staff of Iron City Pharmacy has gone above and beyond to help us sort out our new insurance & get our correct medications filled. The Pharmacist was so kind to take extra time with me and tell me about a coupon I could download. He helped me save $60! I love supporting local businesses and this one is surely worth supporting.

I was there to get my emgality injections and with my insurance I was still going to have to pay $200.00. But then Kent gave a phone number to call and he told me to answer the questions they asked me and I ended up getting my injections for free every month for a year. Thank you so much Kent.

Love the text when my me s are ready staff so kind answer any questions I have and keep me up dateded if I and when I need immunization. Clean store very Profesional  staff always friendly. Love um all

For anyone and everyone who has stood in line at one of the big chain pharmacies, fret no more! The Patel's have brought back service that has no equal.  I personally will never have to set foot in another pharmacy for any of my medication needs.......  From the individualized customer service to the friendly reminders on when to pick up my monthly maintenance medications,  I no longer have to bother worrying if my prescriptions will be filled in a timely manner. Kudos to Iron City Pharmacy!

I can’t say enough positive things about this pharmacy or the owners the Patel’s are great people. When we had Covid I would call and if they had what I needed they would bring it to my car and get the payment so that we didn’t do without any critical meds or supplies for our recuperation. And I like to tease Kant that I’m his favorite customer he treats everyone the same because I was the first one through his door and that I sign up 3 people that day. One was my mother in law and I asked him if I brought him new rx’s for all her medicine could he-be sure and fill them all on the same day each month. He said yes. So I did and I also gave it to him along with an excel spreadsheet of her meds. And I would call him every month and give him a week to get them ready. It was so helpful. I don’t think I have ever had an issue with any of our meds from there. So if you haven’t tried them yet I hope you will soon.

My dogs prescription started out of the 17th of the month. It was moved over a years time to the 23 of the month by the pharmacy. It is to be filled every 30 days. Last month I took the new prescription in which was dated the 17th but didn’t get it there till the 21st. I call to refill it this morning and pharmacist tells me he’s not due till Monday. I’ve had ongoing issues with this pharmacy. Not only for my animals prescriptions but for my family as well. It is close to my house and the meds are cheap but at this point I’m ready to drive further and pay more for hassle free refills and pickup. I’m over this pharmacist thinking he out ranks my veterinarian or doctors. It’s every 30 days.

Wonderful to work with. They have been filling my son’s prescriptions for a couple years now. No wait times. No issues. If he doesn’t have the medicine he orders it immediately. Wonderful to work with.

My husband and I have been customers here since they opened. Kent has went above and beyond to help us with any problems we have had. I read some of the reviews and that's why I felt like I needed to offer my opinion. One of the bad reviews from a Sara Matthew made no sense to me. You do not send a child in to pick up a controlled substance, it's against the law. And as for anyone being rude, that is so not true Everyone who.works there is very professional and always helpful. I find it very childish to leave a bad review because someone would not break the law for you. Kent and his staff are a blessing to Blacksburg.

Dan and I highly recommend Iron City Pharmacy. Kant and staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They are always eager to answer any questions concerning medications and vaccinations. We appreciate that they always keep us  up to date on our medications. Iron City Pharmacy is the best!
