After falling at Johnson Shut Ins, I was greeted right away, I was placed in a room promptly, and it was super clean. The doctor Jeff Teeter and his support staff did excellent work and I was on my way. We had laughter and they made the best of my time there. I wish there were more experiences like this. Thank you again.
If you're in danger of bleeding out, or don't mind paying ER prices for a RX for a cold, they are probably a good place to stop. Unless you know exactly what care you need and are willing to push for it, don't stop, keep driving. My husband had a kidney stone, was given pain meds that didn't work, ignored for an hour while they read the image was in so much pain he couldn't talk, was finally given something that would help with the pain, and pushed out the door. The chief of medicine was the DR. After meeting with the director of nursing, found out that the stone was larger than what would pass on it's own, and the prostrate was enlarged. It was never going to pass. Ended up at an urgent care in Arnold to get pain meds that would work, and something to help pass the stone.
I lacerated my wrist this afternoon and came in with my three small children. The clerical staff, nursing staff, and the physician that cared for me were all extremely efficient and professional. They took care of my wound quickly and skillfully while simultaneously entertaining my children. I couldn’t have been more pleased with my visit.
The ER staff need to make sure they are giving the right discharge paperwork to the correct person. I got home with mine and another gentleman’s also. Hippa violation. Things like that may happen in error, but it could cause problems for the patient, if the private information got into the wrong hands. I hadn't noticed it until I took it with me to my Dr’s appointment and got to looking at the papers and realized I had someone else’s paperwork. The physicians office kindly disposed of it for me.
I can thank the staff enough. From the moment the Awesome Paramedics Brian and I forgot the girl driving dropped my son off at the Iron County ER to the staff that greeted us at the entrance and the amazing nurses. You all know who you are. Thank you Dr Teeter for making my son better. You have an awesome bed side manner.. He thinks his stitches are cool today.LoL I don't have social media so I want to thank the young man that helped get my son up the hill,up the stairs and down the stairs all the way to the entrance. You were a big help.I can't thank you enough .much appreciated and my son says you were nice. Thanks for getting help. The lady that gave us ice to put on my son's head, I appreciate you. Everybody at Johnson's shut ins was amazing Finally, the Rangers and Sheriff Willie I believe; Thanks for being you and the support you showed my son. He is so proud to tell everyone you and Caleb came up to check on him. He is doing wonderful and we are very thankful for the people that helped my son's first major injury go so smoothly. Thanks for all your hard work and dedication.. Hopefully everyone that helped will see this.
2nd degree burns but they immediately took care of me, got me the help that I needed and sent me off with some excellent prescriptions to take care of my burns. Very honest Doc who was short and to the point.
And after that the billing department did all that could be
ou are putting your life in the hands of totally incompetent people if you go to this medical center. We are now on pins and needles praying they haven't created a life threatening condition for a family member. STAY AWAY. DRIVE A LITTLE FURTHER!
This isn't a hospital, it's merely a band-aid station! If you want actual medical care, DO NOT stop here. I went there for pain in an area that's scheduled to have surgery ; they told me that it was nothing wrong. Now, keep in mind, I've already been scheduled for the surgery by a specialist. For true medical professionals, AVOID this place!
Well sit in er for 4 hours and all they did was a glass of water and vitals and test I got up and walked out But on the bright side i tested negative for covid
