Very nice Riverhead town beach! Beautiful sites, the Sound is clean and fresh. Nice playground for the kids, clean bathrooms, and a lifeguard on duty. Quieter beach, was not too crowded on a Sunday in August. Would recommend!
Amazing Spot to enjoy a north Shore Walk. Check Out the newly installed beach cleanup baskets to help combat marine debris.
One of 4 town beaches and it has easy access and a large parking lot. New bathrooms and a hot shower are another reason to use this location for a swim in the LI Sound. Reeves parking is limited, involves stairs and has older bathrooms. All town beaches require a permit year around.
I guess is 5 star , believe or not from hammonaset conneticut it can be seen.
